Arrived on time for our reservation, greeted warmly and seated promptly. Service, as always, was warm prompt efficient without being intrusive. Menu is always fantastic with great specials and offerings. Appetizers, main courses, desserts, all wonderfully done, fantastic wine list, cocktails well balanced and flavorful. Overall; another wonderful experience, which is why we continue to visit this restaurant often. Already looking forward to the next experience.

Always my favorite French restaurant. So glad they added steak tartare to the menu -- it is excellent. As was the special boeuf bourguignon.

My friend and I met for Saturday lunch and had a wonderful waiter who clearly knew his menu and made wonderful suggestions. We shared a delicious fennel salad and some delightful glasses of wine. My friend had the steak tartare which was just ok, with delicious frites and I had the sea bass special which was phenomenal. We had a leisurely quiet lunch in a lovely setting and hope to do it again soon.

What an awesome gem in the area. The ambiance takes you to a bistro in Paris. The paintings and the decor all scream Parisian bistro. The food was equally delicious. The wait staff were well trained and knowledgable. Definitely recommend having a meal here

Atmosphere is very charming, the service was mediocre at best. Our appetizers were the highlight of the meal. Entrees were very disappointing. Halibut special was overcooked and dry, roasted duck did not have much flavor, nor crispy skin. Excellent martinis, once they got the order correct. Certainly do not understand all the rave reviews. Did not live up to the hype!

We started with escargot, and arugula salad, both were excellent. For entrees we had the 1/2 LI duck, I found it very good, my wife had the steak tartar, which she didn’t like at all. All she could taste was mustard, makes you wonder if the chef is tasting his food before it goes out.

Dining at Les canard is always a comforting and pleasant treat. It evokes the French neighborhood bistro vibe that is an essential part of the dining fabric of any “food city” and does so with a great balance of style, history and of course both interesting and classic food. The Paris bistro standards are wonderful… think moulles, steak fritte or the roast chicken. And the always interesting specials keep it fresh. Whether a destination meal or part of your home town rotation, they never disappoint.
