   Le Canard Enchaine is one of my favorite restaurants in Kingston. It is also a place I go for the special occasions such as my birthday or Valentines Day. Great food, nice place, and wonderful memories.

   My man and I went for Valentine’s Day dinner, it was the best restaurant we’ve been to and we plan on going back!!! The food was amazing, staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the ambiance was perfect and it’s just a beautiful place. Don’t go unless you’re ready to spend!!

   I am never disappointed when I bring someone here. The food, atmosphere and service is always consistent. Authentic French cuisine in a romantic setting that feels like Paris in some ways is perfect. I went here on a date and we felt like we were alone sitting in one of the corner tables.    As always Le Canard is a trip to France here in Ulster County. The food , staff and ambience is always top notch .

   Hands down the best French restaurant in the area. The goat cheese “cake” on a fruit and toasted walnut laced salad was creamy deliciousness. The duck with berry glaze was crispy and succulent, and the chocolate pot a crème was a mix of decadent, dark chocolate and rich whipped cream that melted in the mouth. Divine.

    We brought a visiting friend from NYC. He was THRILLED with everything (we always are, too) but especially the escargots. They are difficult to find, he said. And so well-prepared. He joins our LCE fan club- the food, service, ambience (still so pretty with twinkly holiday lights aglow!) the cocktails, all of it. We will return. Vive Le Canard Enchaine! 🇫🇷🥖❤️ Thank you.
