Excellent, well-judged service. Really good food - 5* for quality although 4* for ungenerous portion sizes (in part). Interesting wine list but I think the mark-ups on the wine are just that bit too high. I've been dining there since the mid 90s and it's still very good indeed but more a 4.5* and I wonder if this is the reason it was pretty empty.

Overall a very pleasant experience, staff are incredibly friendly and offer great recommendations. The price is quite high but the location can, in some way, justify it. Whilst I'd say the food was very good it wasn't anything mind blowing. The location is fantastic, ambience, great. A great restaurant if you're willing to pay for the privilege of its location. 4.2/5.

Our biggest disappointment once we got to our table after enjoying drinks in the bar 1st, was that only the brunch menu was available Saturday lunchtime, no al a carte. We considered leaving and going into The Chop House next door but decided we could just about find something to choose from the menu. Their website needs to make that more clear that Al a carte is not available Saturday lunchtimes.

Dear Melinda, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t as expected. We understand your disappointment regarding the limited menu options on Saturday lunchtime, especially since the à la carte menu was unavailable. We agree that it’s important for our website to clearly reflect this, and we’ll certainly take that into consideration. Since you’ve rated your experience with 3 stars, we’d love to learn more about what specifically went wrong with the food and service. Were there any particular dishes or aspects of the service that didn’t meet your expectations? Your detailed feedback will help us improve and ensure we provide a better experience for future guests. Kind regards, Team Le Pont de la Tour

The drinks order took a very long time - way after the food arrived - and then one of the drinks didn’t arrive and they tried to charge us for it - very poor service
Le Pont de la TourResponded on March 28, 2025
Dear Caroline, Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for the delay in your drink order. We understand how frustrating it must have been for the drinks to arrive after your food, and we deeply regret the oversight with the missing drink and the incorrect charge. We strive to provide excellent service, and we will certainly address this with our team to ensure it doesn't happen again. Your experience matters to us, and we hope you'll give us another chance to make it right. Kind regards, Team Le Pont de la Tour

Great food at reasonable prices. Serving sizes a little small and a lack of decent value for money wines. Overall great experience.
