They charge us double price for T bone steak, in menu £65 but they charge us £130 for that dish, never come back with the restaurant cheating like that

Terrible service and terrible food. The beef tartare was bland, the prawns were overcooked and the mussels were cold. The table next to us sent back their steak too. Massively overpriced for what it is. We used to love this place, especially in the summer but it is not worth the money now. Do. It waste your time and money.

Un prix abusif pour des plats tout simples. Des suppléments à tous les étages. Des frites surgelés chez Michelin. Une adresse à oublier!

Review: Disappointing despite good food We had dinner at this restaurant, and while the food was good, the service was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we waited more than 30 minutes before someone took our order, and no one even asked if we wanted an aperitif. The wine was served at the same time as the food, and no one checked on us during the meal. Despite the presence of a sommelier, we had to wait to have our glasses refilled. Regarding the seafood platter at £90, one of the clams was not open, which is unacceptable for such a price. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she simply replied, "OK, do you want us to cook it again?"—which we found completely inappropriate. Finally, after our desserts, no after-dinner drinks were offered, and we had to struggle to get a waiter’s attention just to ask for the bill, leading to another long wait. In summary, good food, but the service was far too slow and inattentive. A disappointing experience.

Dear Melanie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the food, but we sincerely apologize for the issues you faced with the service during your visit. It’s clear that we did not meet your expectations. Your experience with the slow service, especially with the wine and the seafood platter, we’ll be addressing this with our team to ensure it doesn't happen again. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we’ll be taking immediate steps to improve. We truly appreciate your constructive criticism and will use it to make the necessary improvements. We hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future to offer you a more enjoyable dining experience. Team Le Pont de la Tour

My partner and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Le Pont de la Tour last night. We rarely eat steak but the Côte de Boeuf is amazing and a real treat for us. Not to mention amazing cocktails and delicious deserts

What a depressing restaurant. You enter into a large bar area (completely empty of customers or staff) The manager on duty was excellent whereas the remaining staff were poor and in particular the female responsible for the wine was both surly and offensibly rude. The menu is small and underwhelming. In general poor quality food and the kitchen lacks skill as well as offering jersey potatoes in February when they are not in season and not available, unforgivable! Overall, none of our party of 8 would consider returning but based on a Friday night dinner with only 4 tables occupied it’s quite likely that this restaurant will not survive. This is a great pity,as it used to be a fantastic restaurant but now it bears no resemblance to its former self.
