Lechon is a South American dining experience that seamlessly combines the fiery cooking of Argentina, Chile and Patagonia, along with creative inspiration of the chef. Enjoy perfectly charred 28-day dry-aged ribeye, grilled octopus with chorizo, housemade piquillo pepper and pork empanadas, slow roasted lechon, refreshing ceviches and smoked bone marrow.

Executive Chef Jaco Smith consistently pushes the boundaries on traditional Latin fare by incorporating wood-fired flavors into his cuisine while boasting a view of the Willamette River that few Portland restaurants can offer. Smith comes from a large family of cattle, sheep and grain farmers. He started cooking at a young age in his mother’s kitchen. His favorite childhood memories include the tastes of dulce de leche, flan and grilled breads, reminiscent of South American flavors and commonly found on South African kitchen tables.

This wine dinner will feature five courses from Lechon inspired by the traditional Argentine asado, with Corazon del Sol wine pairings. $150 all inclusive price, per person (price includes food, wine and gratuity). Ten out of ten every single time. The food is amazing, staff is friendly, and honestly not even that expensive all things considered. Hands down my wife and I’s favorite restaurant in Portland.

One of our "not to be missed" spots when in town. Guests w/GF and DF allergies are easy to accommodate, there is even dessert for us. Pro tip: order the rib eye upon arrival, it takes a bit. Fritters, Lomo Saltado, Brussels sprouts and fried chicken were our favorites.

The food is fantastic! Went for happy hour and there were so many food options to choose from. I was blown away by the value and quality. Wonderful atmosphere. We will be back!
