   Disappointing! The food was just ‘okay’. The risotto was bland, no hint of green garlic, English muffins were hard as rocks, green salad lacked flavor in the dressing, lobster Benedict was weak hollandaise sauce (very bland)- it was as if someone with no taste buds cooked the food. For our group of 9 - we paid over $400 and it was a boring meal, only memorable due to the mediocrity.

   We had a fun night but food was mixed. Salad verte was underdressed and not tossed so mostly felt like eating plain butter lettuce. Beet salad was arugula heavy and very little goat cheese. NY steak was tough and overcooked, I should have sent it back but no one checked on me. On the flip side, everyone raved about the sole and the ravioli Live music was great. We’ll come back but order differently.

   I love the bus boy if that’s what they call this postion, he’s been there forever and always gives extra care fills my water consistently and just is the sweetest. I actually love coming because we appreciate how hard he works and how kind he is. There is so much more to a restaurant than just the food.

   Overall, had a very good experience. The petite felit mignon was cooked perfectly. The calamari appetizer fried crisply. Salmon with asparagus and roasted chicken with mash potatoes also very good. Server also friendly and even offered us a free glass of chardonnay that another diner refused. My main issue in the past with LB is that the service can be slow. Not this time. Food came out in a reasonable time without us wondering how long it would take. The only negative this time was the escargot was a bit over done. Nonetheless, I will return again.

   i'm sorry, but this place has slipped in the quality of food over the years. just ok. ambiance inside is nice, but can be very noisy when full. good service. limited wine menu, $25 corkage is attractive.

   There have been changes to the Left Bank Menu. Their steak frites was always my favorite dish. I believe in the past it was skirt steak. So delicious. Now they offer Filet Mignon (which was good, but unremarkable) and NY steak. That said, we had a lovely dinner on the patio. Excellent french bread, onion soup and profiteroles.

    We had escargot and charcuterie plate. We were very happy with the choices and I had a paper plane. My wife and I enjoyed our time.
