Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards.
The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace.
The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available.
The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

Good value roast dinner. One small issue - they advertise unlimited roast potatoes, Yorkshires and gravy. We asked 3 times for extra gravy as the meal was quite dry. The gravy did not come and there was no explanation or apology. Otherwise, it was all good.

The food was divine, the service exceptional. The environment quite dull and maybe that is by design so diners focus on the food and the experience but a little more decor would have been pleasing to the eye.

Indian Fine Dining Restaurant with British Flair in the Heart of Mayfair.

Benares Restaurant and Bar since its opening in 2003 has been considered one of the finest Indian Restaurants in the city.

Guests enter an elegant lounge with hand-crafted India inspired furniture and is complemented by a beautiful pond decorated with fresh flowers, creating a luxurious aesthetic.

Benares has 4 private dining rooms, three of which are around the lounge: the Berkeley Room which seats up to 16 guests, the Sommeliers Table which seats up to 10 guests and a Chefs Table overlooking the kitchen which seats up to 8 guests. The lounge area leads into the main dining room which can accommodate up to 80 guests. Our largest private dining area, the Dover room seating up to 36 guests is on the other side of the main dining room.

Benares can be hired for exclusive events accommodating 100 guests for a sit-down dinner and 250 guests for a standing reception.

Wow! Out of this world experience. The food was on another level and the pairing wine the waiter selected , complemented the good fully. The level of service was as good as I’ve been to. Would recommend this to anyone ..

This restaurant is everything fine dining is supposed to be: incredible depth of selection in the wine list, impeccable and attentive service, visually stunning plating with an amazing combination of flavors, perfectly cooked food -- it all combines for one of the best dining experiences of my life. What was equally impressive was the creative alternative dishes they created for my dining companion who has multiple allergies; we've been in restaurants where the approach to handling multiple food allergies is a presentation of some bland meat, vegetables, and rice. The dishes they served to her were as stunning and delicious as the courses in the "standard" menu -- this is a 5-star dining experience all around. I can't heap enough praises on this place...truly amazing and worth every penny.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish . The food is wonderful . We particularly liked the Charlotte potatoes, venison and core apple dessert. In addition to tasting amazing the food is beautifully presented . The interior decor is also stunning and we enjoyed the warm welcome from all of the kitchen and serving staff . Definitely an experience to be savoured on a special occasion.

First time at Decimo, and no doubt we'll be back again soon! Fantastic views of the city, and great service - felt very well looked after and the food was divine. Went for the tacos for starters and pork chop as main course - wine and drinks selection was spot on, and a perfect end to the day for my wife and I after a visit to the theatre. Would recommend :)

The best tasting menu I’ve had in years. Intricate, interesting and delicious. The wine pairing was interesting, a bit daring in places and spot on for each course. The service was the essence of modern hospitality, combining efficiency and friendliness and making it all look easy.

We took a client for lunch as a thanks for their business during the year - great venue, quality food and service and wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend it! A good few year since I had been but Galvin La Chapelle is just as good as it ever was!

This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.

Kai Mayfair’s cuisine has its foundation in Nanyang Chinese cooking, the region located within the South Seas of China. Always a favorite when we come to London. The duck is delectable and there are vegetarian options as well. I'm personally a huge fan of their appetizers but every course is excellent and the service is exceptional.

Amazing experience! From when I walked in, the entire staff welcome me smiling and with an incredible cordiality. I went for the full 10 courses menu with a pairing of non-alcoholic drinks (4 pieces). Every course was perfectly explained with joy and a great personality. All the menu was balanced and well executed. Personally I didn’t like the cheese, but it was just not my type. The mocktail was also very god, especially the last one! Overall a really great experience, I will surely come back!! Ps: I loved the purè and the butter, surely one of the best I ever tried!

Portland opened in 2015 and received a Michelin star the same year - which we have retained to this day. We try to offer the best contemporary example of fine dining in London – the finest produce we can find cooked with precision and a high level of technique led by our executive chef Stuart Andrew and head chef Chris Bassett and his team.

We offer a la carte and also a Tasting Menu at lunch and dinner.

Wine is as important as food and service at Portland. Our main wine list aims to offer brilliant value on interesting, different wines which we hope you seldom see on restaurant wine lists. Our Single Bottle List contains bins of some of the world’s finest wines and also more accessible offerings from our favourite producers.

Fantastic food and we were so well looked after by Gabor and the others at Portland. 10th Anniversary tasting menu was superb value for money. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. Now we have a dilemma when we come down from Scotland …..Clipstone, 64 Goodge St or Clipstone? Lovely food and great staff across the group!

Fergus Henderson’s original home of “Nose to Tail Eating” opened in a former smokehouse around the corner from Smithfield Market in 1994.

Celebrating the finest of indigenous British produce and making the most of what is seasonally best whilst applying straight forward cooking techniques, St. John is now celebrated as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World and in 2009 was awarded its first Michelin Star.

We opened in April 2013 gaining our first Michelin star only five months after opening and in 2021 we were awarded our second Michelin star. Finally in 2023 we launched Story 3.0 hosting a 2nd floor.

What a fantastic evening. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was beautifully prepared, and the presentation was fun, fresh, and lovely. We also got the wine and cocktail pairing. The drinks were so interesting, and paired perfectly with the food. More importantly, the sommelier explained each wine and cocktail to us, carefully explaining the flavors, why that drink was chosen, and the many tones of the drinks. Was very fun and enlightening. All of the staff (and there were many taking care of us!) were just incredible. Knowledgeable, fun, friendly, personable staff. We even got to tour the kitchen and take pictures with the chef and team. Just a fantastic FIVE hour experience. Thankyou.

I visited at lunchtime and the room and the atmosphere in the room was perfect, chatty, energetic and the staff were lovely and efficient. The food was delicious. I had the Dragon set lunch menu ( my husband, a la carte) & the tempura prawns were so wonderful I could have just feasted on them and been happy. The salt and pepper beef was delicious but I wasn’t so keen on the panna cotta - presentation and dry ice was great but why was it green and I would not have guessed that it was coconut - on the other hand the birthday treat was sublime and much appreciated. I highly recommend the pineapple and cherry negroni too!

Very much a pub we are as welcoming to one person sitting with a beer and a paper as to a group having a special meal. In an informal and relaxing atmosphere we nonetheless take our food, drink and service seriously.

Our food is all freshly prepared and our menu changes every day and across the seasons. With a focus on being enjoyable, honest and seasonal we are also affordable - our wine list available on our website is among the very best in London.

The entire party agreed that the food was excellent. The reason we marked down the srevice slightly was because we had to wait for quite a long time between receiving the bill and being able to pay as the staff were otherwise occupied.

The Quality Chop House celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2019.

Our menus are seasonally-focused and change daily based around the best produce delivered each morning.

Trinity reopened in October 2015 with the same ethos, culture and team whilst recreating a new and refreshing backdrop - retaining its sophistication and remaining a restaurant of significance in Clapham.
An alfresco dining area accommodates 16 guests, the dining room seating 40 guests that now have a clear view into an open plan kitchen with banquette seating surrounded by the soft hues of jade green and dusty heather pink.
Staying true to his style of cookery, the new menu will focus on Adam’s interpretation of great classics in a relaxed and approachable setting.
The kitchen presents a four course a la carte menu for a set price of £70 for lunch and £120 for dinner. Buzzing busy atmosphere, live jazz, impressive dining space. Nice wine and food is excellent. As is the service. Onion soup is amazing and I could eat the beef bourguignon every day. Vegetarians should check fish dishes that might arrive with bacon etc.

Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength.

We love going to this place and enjoy the food greatly. It’s also close to Emirates Stadium, which makes it convenient for match days. One criticism is the prices seem high generally and particularly on match days.
