What an incredible view in such a lovely place. Major Tom is perched up in an office building overlooking the western mountain range in Calgary. Beautiful views, great food (small selection) and great service are what you’ll find there.

What an incredible view in such a lovely place. Major Tom is perched up in an office building overlooking the western mountain range in Calgary. Beautiful views, great food (small selection) and great service are what you’ll find there.

Getting to River Cafe is just a walk in the park.

Access River Café on Prince's Island Park from:
1. North side crossing the Bow River and Memorial Drive at the Calgary Curling Club.
2. South East end of the island at the 2nd street SW bridge, directly East of Eau Claire Market.
3. South West end of the island at 6th Street SW and Eau Claire Way near the Peace Bridge.
Eau Claire Plaza is currently closed for construction.
Please note, only our Afternoon Menu is served daily from 4:00pm-5:00pm.

Awesome location and patio. Service was excellent. The Arctic Char is well worth ordering.

A good dining out experience. Nice space (but way too loud - some sound dampening please). The menu is not overly big with a very nice selection of options. They have a great wine list and good beer and cocktail selections. Some of the food spicing was just off a little - could have been tweaked for more subtly. Really good, professional and very friendly service. Over all a very nice experience that we will be back for.

Lulu Bar is an escape from the ordinary. Its welcoming vibe is reminiscent of hidden gems from your last vacation, only better because it’s right here in your own backyard. With a healthy, Pacific-inspired menu, Lulu’s wood-fired food is light and fresh — but heavy on flavour.
Chef Joseph Sokoloff’s fare is a tribute to the Pacific Ocean and many of the regions that touch it, with influences from Asia to Hawaii, California to British Columbia. Lulu’s fun, light, and refreshing drink menu is equally well-travelled. Its wine, beer, and creative cocktail offerings will make you feel like you’re far from home — and we like that.

Much overdue visit to one of Bridgeland’s best dining gem - Jin Bar, that has consistent hospitality and satisfying menu (highly recommend their pizza selections) always!
