We have always had the core belief of being as good to ourselves (and the earth) as possible, but as we grow, we have always wanted to do more. With this desire, we decided to open Bloom Plant Based kitchen. Not only is eating a more plant-based diet healthier and more forgiving to one’s body, but it is significantly better for the environment. However, with healthy plant-based options not being the popular choice, we know we have stiff competition. Therefore, our intention with Bloom is to focus on bringing flavorful, healthy, and affordable plant-based food to families while also being desirable and appealing to everyone regardless of their diet.

Bloom was phenomenal! We did the chefs table tasting menu and every dish was better than the last—legitimately can’t pick a favorite. I’m not vegan or vegetarian, and I didn’t miss meat, dairy, etc. at all. Also, the hostess, servers, and chef were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Highly recommend!!

Chicago Cut was sensational! We were offered a warm welcome immediately upon entering the restaurant, and our waiter, I believe his name was Matt, was kind, professional, and great at anticipating all of our dining needs! The 8oz filet was divine — I had it prepared medium au poivre and I couldn’t have been more thrilled! I know we would be hard pressed to find a steak this good anywhere else! We are visiting Chicago, and will actually be back again in a few months, and cannot wait to dine here again. 5 stars!

The cocktail I had was a rum-based elegantly made drink called the Moonrise something or other. My friend really liked the Sakura daiquiri. While the food and drinks are of course the stars here, I have to call out that they have the classiest little beautiful restroom I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. Beautifully designed and meticulous attention to detail as the Japanese are lauded for time and time again. My only critique from this visit is that the gyoza didn’t have meat inside as we expected and for the price for just one, we didn’t find value there. Everything else was great. Can’t wait to return!

Some standout dishes for us were the tamarind soup, Thai sausage, and the perfectly cooked sea bass. The dessert was unique, especially the frozen yuzu pie--not quite my taste, but definitely interesting. The drinks were just as impressive, though I can't remember the names. That said, I don't think you could go wrong with any choice. I love that their menu constantly evolves. Even though we had the chef's special menu, we saw dishes from the regular menu coming out of the kitchen, and they looked just as tempting. We're already planning to return to try more! The ambiance was cozy yet sophisticated--perfect for a date night, a work dinner, or a relaxed yet refined evening out. Overall, this was some of the best food I've had in Chicago, and it left me already looking forward to my next visit

The stunning multi-room space was designed by the world-renowned design firm AvroKO and is located in the heart of the Fulton Market District — the birthplace of Chicago meatpacking. Executive Chef Chris Pandel's menu is based in traditional ideas and elevated with a modern approach that makes it unique in the Chicago steakhouse landscape. We have overall a great experience Food was amazing with special mention to the excellent point of the filet mignon and the fish we ordered Service was very kind and professional with excellent attention to detail. It is not cheap but the quality of the food and the vibrant environment makes it a very nice restaurant to have a special dinner. Thanks a lot

We got the tavern burger and the rigatoni with bolognese sauce. Both were delicious and the portion size was perfect for me. I also got the passion fruit cocktail and it was yummy. The place has amazing upscale Chicago sports bar vibes.
