I had an exceptional dining experience at Angelini Osteria. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic Italian cuisine. The ambiance transported me straight to an Italian village, with a variety of seating options that added to the charm. The outdoor seating was particularly impressive, with well-placed heaters that made it cozy and comfortable. The service was outstanding—attentive servers who frequently checked in to ensure everything was perfect. The presence of authentic Italian staff added a special touch to the overall experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a genuine taste of Italy combined with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

About the restaurant
A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced.
Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and also features Mediterranean influences.
We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable.
Featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails.

AOC is proud to offer both outdoor and indoor dining. Our patios feature shared heaters, however we highly recommend bringing appropriate outerwear for your comfort. Unfortunately, inclement weather may affect our ability to honor your reservation. In the event of rain, we will notify you as soon as possible to communicate any weather related cancellations and to assist you with rescheduling your reservation.

Beginning November 4th, a.o.c. will require that all guests require proof of vaccination or negative results from a Covid test taken within 72 hours of entry.

My friend and I wanted to place to grab a drink and lite bites before seeing a show at the Ahmanson the prices were a bit steep - this is more of a fancy date night out rather than a budget friendly.

Chef Stephanie Izard and her team are thrilled to have joined LA’s vibrant restaurant community and continue our tradition of serving bold-flavored foods in a fun and lively family-style setting. Stephanie and her team have also crafted new dishes inspired by California produce and local flavors, like carrot-tahini dip with tahini tofu, and curried goat with radishes, pickled vegetables, and masa chips. Outdoor patio was super cute heat lamps everywhere just in case anyone got cold. The food was amazing and staff was very accommodating. 10/10 I’ll be going back

Best dining experience we have ever had. Our server was knowledgeable of the food and wines and there were multiple people helping with our table. Each dish was described beautifully and the flavors were incredible. Each item was better than the next. And the wines paired perfectly. It was a dining experience we will never forget and we will be back soon with friends. We cannot express enough about how wonderful of a time we had. This has to be one of the top restaurants in the World.

Every bite was a dream. This place (from the owners of my favorite LA restaurant, Bavel) is like the cool younger sibling of Bavel. It's not as grand, but the food is almost just as good, and it's a lot more loud and fun. Great night all around.

This place is a delight! I’m very sad they’re about to stop dinner services. Stop wasting money at other inferior places and spend it here so they’ll bring dinner back! But all their food is great all the time, especially the biscuits. The staff are uniformly lovely and efficient. I feel so lucky that this is a neighborhood spot for me.
