Excellent service e and food. One of my pet leaves with restaurants is the temperature of the food when it arrives at the table. I find it luke warm . I mentioned this to the server. My soup and pasta arrived very hot as it should be. It was fantastic.

What a kitschy and camp local Hamilton spot! Went to the Hess village location (be warned, there are two locations so make sure you show up to the right one). It was a lovely birthday dinner and not many diners so felt very private. For vibes, think jetsons meet 1960’s dinner meets a manic pixie dream girl! Plus, free dessert for the bday girl. The food was great, highly reccomend the kimchi fries x

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

There is a great food variety that everyone with find something good to eat. They serve comfort food with a good variety of pastas, some curries, salads and other meat dishes. All the food that we ate that evening was great tasting and reasonably priced. They have a good drink menu with many beers on tap and bottled, ciders and a good selection of wine. The service was good and the food was delivered hot. It is a very large restaurant with ample seating and you do not feel like the tables are too close to each other. If you are in the area the Hothouse is worth visiting.

Exceptional service a coupled with a beautiful ambience. RH Courtyard’s an oasis within the hustle and bustle of Yorkdale mall. The service was impeccable and each plate enjoyably delicious. My guests highly enjoyed the petit filet with the truffled fries, as well as the raspberry sorbet for dessert.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner tonight. We were seated by the window with a view of the river. Our Server Michelle was very personable and attentive. We both thoroughly and I mean thoroughly enjoyed a 7oz Tenderloin served with potato pave, roasted onion, spinach purée and bordelaise. OMGoodness was it good! Kudos to the Chef! We had tea and shared a Chocolate Ganache, totally decadent but the portion was very tiny and we could have each had one wink wink. There was 1 downfall with zero fault of the restaurant, the table beside is was uber loud and the perfume worn by one of the women was totally nauseating and affected my allergies. Fortunately, they were seated a few minutes before we left.

Service and food/drink start to finish was amazing! There was a mix up in my order and it was quickly resolved, no troubles! I really appreciate their friendliness, chatter, efficient work. Tables can be small for ordering big things, can get crowded! But love the look and feel of the space. Great tea selection and it was great that I could try different kinds of teas in the same visit. I had three kinds! Tea is made at the kitchen counter in glass pot to perfect coulour, leaves are removed before brought to table. Therefore it doesn’t becomes too strong until the last drop of pot. All of us couldn’t finish food, so took home the left over to home. Was great atmosphere and great service!

We all had a great time. Our server Mary was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food all came out in a timely manner for our group of 23 and the place had enough background noise to seem busy but wasn't overly loud so we didn't have to shout over the noise to converse with our dinner guests. We had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent. Don’t let the wide open, big room feel throw you off. The food and service are excellent. It’s a bit noisy and crowded feeling but it’s fun. REAL Hollandaise (as it should always be but sadly, often isn’t) and thinly sliced Canadian bacon made the Eggs Benedict fabulous.

We have always loved sole but now we love sole even more. Sole is our number one choice for dining in kw. Jason and staff have done an exceptional job with the transformation and we are thrilled with the quality of the service, the food is incredible and the ambience of the restaurant is so improved - warm and inviting yet classy. Great job to the service staff and kudos to the chef and culinary team for always delivering top notch flavours and dishes that delight.

A 5* experience! We enjoyed the holiday ambience, so much positive energy, the service was absolutely sublime! We started with oysters and crudo; followed by gluten free penne ala vodka.. This was a very seriously tasty gluten free pasta, strongly recommend.. Branzino was so tender with a crispy skin; there is some elegant lightness to this dish, a must try.. The brunch was fabulous!! The Yorkie Bennie was delicious and a good sized portion! It came quick after ordering! It was fresh tasting and temperature of food was perfect! The service was top notch and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were meeting to catch up and chat over brunch and we probably overstayed our welcome, however, not once did we ever feel rushed and made sure to thank the staff for letting us hang out to finish our visit! The Charcoal Steak House is an independent local steakhouse serving the Waterloo region community for over 65 years. Enjoy AAA Steaks, richly marbled wagyu, slow roasted prime rib, fresh seafood, mouth-watering pig tails, legendary smoked ribs and more. At lunch we feature an extensive menu with burgers, sandwiches, bowls and healthy salad choices.

Sundays are made for Brunch from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Our Martinis Bar with summer patio offers the full Steak House menu or light meals in a more casual setting. Enjoy appetizers, a full meal, 20 beers on tap and beautiful outdoor seating area in summer.

We enjoyed a nice Christmas meal with close friends at Charcoal. Caitlyn did an excellent job as our server and was friendly, polite and attentive. The food was really tasty and I really enjoyed the beef wellington. It was a very pleasant way to celebrate the holidays.

Busy spot and a bit noisy. Food (brunch) was very good, as always. They may have been short staffed as our welcome was a bit long in coming.
