Great ambiance, service is second to none, and the food is always amazing - regardless of if you get a burger, salmon, or steak. Price may be an issue for those who have always wanted to try, but the lunch menu is fairly prices (ie. we paid $220 for 3 people, including tip and drinks and coffee).

I dined here with a friend whilst I was visiting Montreal, from Australia. I found the service throughout our dining experience was nothing less than excellent. Our waiter was very professional and attentive. The food served was of a high quality. There was a nice ambiance to the restaurant, providing us with an overall pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We celebrated our anniversary and could not have been happier with the service and the food. We received a complimentary glass of champagne to congratulate us, which was unexpected and appreciated. We shared the scallops as an appetizer and I had the duck and my husband the steak. It was all prepared to perfection. The bread was from a local bakery and was to die for, so good. The service was super attentive, the food and wine explained to us in major detail. We really enjoyed our experience. Although a little pricey, it was well worth it.

Fairouz is one of our favourite restaurants in Ottawa. We always get amazing service from the serving staff (thank you Taylor!) and of course the kitchen (chef Walid is a superstar). Every time we go, we just order the tasting menu so we don't have to make any hard decisions, and we have never been disappointed. They change things up often to keep the menu very interesting and delicious. Thanks again for a wonderful Friday evening!

Kevin provided us with impeccable service. Except there was dust coming from the ceiling onto our table and drinks. We requested for a change of table which Kevin did. It’s understandable that the noise level was extraordinarily loud coz of Christmas get together.

We made a reservation, showed up on time and were seated right away. The food was excellent and service was good also. The manager came by the table to say that the special for the night was no longer available but she did substitute that with something straight off the meau and not charged any extra. Very well done.

The calamari is delicious, and obviously one should get a steak at a steak house... most definently one of the best places to eat down town... The table we got was perfect too right near a window looking out over market square.. Highly reccommend

This war my annual dinner with two grandsons so it is very special. The booth in the bar was perfect for us. Our waitress was perfect- prompt and attentive to our wishes. My filet and the two very large prime rib plates for my grandsons were outstanding. This Keg has been and will continue to be my choice for important sure-fire special occasions.

Myself and my Fiancé went there for the first time to celebrate his birthday, and we both agreed that this was the best meal and the best service that we have ever had. We encountered a small bump in the reservations when the current table of guests continued to linger....Go home you Lingers!!!! LOL A young gentleman from The Keg was quick to make other arrangements for a table for us and we were off and running. The young lady we had for a server was very attentive and helpful and provided timely service throughout our meal ensuring we had an enjoyable evening. Our food as per usual at The Keg was exceptional and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately I did not obtain the young server's name for special recognition, she was in the bar area and started serving us at 6;30 p.m. table of seven at a low table (high table was still in use by the lingers). Excellent enjoyable experience, many thanks.

Was not sure what to expect since the last time we dined it was not a great experience. The waiter was” in your face, “ and loud nor was the food too good. This time everything was wonderful from our female waiter, the food, and the view.

A wonderful lake view in a cozy yet sophisticated historical building. The most delicious brie and fig appetizer. Salads were good as well as the mushroom pizza. Service was perfect, and the cheesecake for my friends birthday was very good. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent service e and food. One of my pet leaves with restaurants is the temperature of the food when it arrives at the table. I find it luke warm . I mentioned this to the server. My soup and pasta arrived very hot as it should be. It was fantastic.

We have gone quit a few times to Locale in Aurora and I want to say that this time was amazing. Our server was fantastic. I forgot her name but she knew her menu and gave us great recommendations. We tried everything she suggested to us.

Very great food, good ambiance, not too loud and our server was phenomenal! He was very responsive, attentive to what and when we needed something. Forgot to catch his name bald guy big full beard he was awesome! Lamb shank was delicious my wife rarely finishes her full plate she devoured it, I had the ravioli and pane really really good!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. The space was very noisy so we felt like we had to yell at each other. We asked to be moved to a quieter area if possible. Even though it was a very busy night they managed to find us a table that was quieter which we really appreciated. We would definitely dine here again but we would choose a different time/day of the week with hopes that it would not be as noisy.

This meal was a slay. Meatballs were the fave of the night but the cheese plate was also fantastic. The paella was actually better than the ones I've had in Spain. So good and can't wait to go back!

My dad got the caviar as an appetiser and as a main the lobster pasta, which he really recommends. I got the grilled octopus (well cooked, not chewy) and the ndjua pasta, it lacked that kick from the spice but other than that it was very good!

This is the 2nd time I’ve been to STK for Happy Hour and decided to bring my 2 daughters. STK did not disappoint and lived to my expectations. Food, service and ambience were excellent! Both my daughters had an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this place!

This was my second time eating at Treadwell’s and the experience has been stellar both times. I ordered the lamb shank and it was without a doubt the best dinner I have eaten in a restaurant for a long time. Our waitress was very pleasant and informative with the menu and our options. I really look forward to returning next time I am in NOTL. Thank you for a great memory!
