The steaks are cooked over wood on a grill and were Delicious. Sides were great. Desert was outstanding, Cream Broulette. Pressed coffee was rich and fresh. Wife had crab cakes and they too were delicious.

Our waitress was wonderful! Crab cakes are always a great choice. My husband said the prime rib had great flavor, but he found a lot of gristle within his slice. Lighting was a little dark, we were downstairs in the bar area, next time will request upstairs. We found it louder downstairs. Overall it was a nice dinner, we will be back.

Excellent experience, the entire staff was friendly and professional. Food was as good as would be expected at a restaurant on this level. Great job by the bartender, best Old Fashion I've had, and there have been many. The Filet Mignon was absolutely perfect. I had the special, stuffed Rockfish and it was great. There is a lot of great competition in this arena and we're looking for the best of Richmond. These guys are on the short list.

Had a good dinner. Burgers and Pizza. Nothing too exciting. But the pizza was very good thin crust pizza. Burgers were solid and the price was fair. Would go back for casual lunch or dinner.

My wife and I went in for Valentines Day and everything was on point! The service Lindsey provided was great and the food that was recommended was just as good. Tavern & Grocery offers modern interpretations of classically inspired dishes served in a modern update of a restored early 1800's boarding house. The building was a grocery from its inception in 1820 all the way until 1973, and was also a tavern, boarding house, and restaurant along the way. Ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible, with much of our produce grown on our own farm during the spring, summer, and fall. We even have our own flock of laying hens and use as many of our own eggs as possible! Saturday and Sunday brunch is a must with both classic brunch dishes as well as creative re-interpretations, and, of course, the perfect bloody mary. Our bar focuses on creative craft and classic cocktails, as well as wine, serving the best examples of many varieties with a large selection of wines offered by the glass. We have a very nice selection of beer, both on tap and in bottle, that even the most discerning will love.

Le Yaca began in a tiny, country village(Courchevel)in the French Alps in 1964.Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided that it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans they told the hopeful restaurateurs that they were crazy to think that people would drive 8 kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for 3 months and then decided: “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “ il n’y a qu’a le faire” which basically means “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag. But the name caught on with customers, who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms ” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States & opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought le Yaca in 2001. Daniel worked and trained in such prestigious places as “Le Pre Catelan” and “Lenotre” in Paris; “L’Amandier” and “Roger Verge; and to top it all off “Alain D
