Enjoyed Fall RRWEEK and the chef out did themselves. Everything was delicious, flavorful and cooked good impress. We enjoyed the Dolmades, Shrimp Spaganaki and Harrisa Wing for apps. The Star was the Spaganaki & Harrissa sauce 😘 8/10 On entrees we had, Zatar chicken — add this to the regular menu, so tasty and the leeks was next level. We also had the Morrocan oxtail, so flavorful. ✨8/10 The dessert, my favorite was the Baklava Pumpkin Pie - definitely a delight ✨ 7/10 I enjoy Bar Solita often, whether for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner the food is always great. We were going to skip Bar Solita for restaurant week, but I’m glad we changed our minds and made them our first stop — definitely check them out the food was BUSSIN (in the best way) And thanks to our server Edwin, he was always right on time and gave great suggestions. Tip him well 😎 Until next time, stop by and grab a meal or two 😊 Honorable mentions - the venue is super cute for date night or with friends. Great for taking memorable pics (Instagrammable) and very spacious. - it’s the Old Popkins Building (historic)

Our server, Gabby, was awesome. Very informed of the menu items and a great personality to boot ! There was an issue with martini’s and they made it right. Unfortunately, for the first half of our seating we were seated along side a large group that was very loud. Not sure if there were places to sit elsewhere for our party of five. When they left, all was well. Food was great. Recommend this place.

Made Reservations here for my Birthday on IG which was simple and easy. My experience here was Amazing. My only complaint was the waitress I had could try to be a little more friendlier. Her thoughts penetrated loudly through her facial expressions and her Delivery. One of my friends ordered Lobster Tails which were cold. Other than that my experience as the Birthday girl was Great!

Delicious! The only difficulty was deciding what to order as the menu was quite extensive! Our server was quite helpful. Husband had fish & chips and I had Beef brisket. Generous portions. Sweet potato waffle fries with glaze were incredible. After spending the day with the English in Jamestown, this was perfect. Good beer and wine list and cocktails.

My parents love coming here every time they come into town because the food and service are always so great. They are here for the Thanksgiving holiday, and today (on what some consider the busiest restaurant day of the year!!) was no exception. Casey was our server and she was so attentive throughout the whole experience - She was knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of my mom’s questions when she had concerns due to food allergies. She was kind and upbeat and overall amazing - Will definitely be back to request Casey!

Tavern & Grocery offers modern interpretations of classically inspired dishes served in a modern update of a restored early 1800's boarding house. The building was a grocery from its inception in 1820 all the way until 1973, and was also a tavern, boarding house, and restaurant along the way. Ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible, with much of our produce grown on our own farm during the spring, summer, and fall. We even have our own flock of laying hens and use as many of our own eggs as possible! Saturday and Sunday brunch is a must with both classic brunch dishes as well as creative re-interpretations, and, of course, the perfect bloody mary. Our bar focuses on creative craft and classic cocktails, as well as wine, serving the best examples of many varieties with a large selection of wines offered by the glass. We have a very nice selection of beer, both on tap and in bottle, that even the most discerning will love.

We've come to appreciate West Coast as a close, reliable purveyor of truly fresh ingredient-focused, great dinners. We've even ordered (beef) filet there. (And it was great!) We usually vier toward the raw fish/seafood items and vegetable salads, but the last couple of fish tacos and/or s "simply prepared" salmon with vegetables have proven the kitchen's skills beyond promised "Aligot" potatoes that are little more than predictably "mashed." And there are occasional reliances on showy kitchen flourishes -- like a hearty scattering of fresh thyme leaves on roasted potatoes --for which a MUCH lighter hand would serve to taste if not, so much, to appearance. But our past few months' experiences with raw seafood, roasted or grilled entrees, deep-fried fish tacos, and -- most recently -- filet of beef have been outstanding in creativity and consistency. We do not want to take this ostensibly "seafood" outpost while they serve so many dependably excellent salads, sandwiches, steaks, etc. West Coast is an amazing neighborhood gathering place -- one that has MUCH better than "neighborhood gathering spot" food. Go for the food. All of it..

I booked a reservation for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. As expected, our table was ready for us when we arrived, our service staff was prompt and attentive, but without being intrusive. And the food and drinks were expertly prepared. We will definitely keep this in mind for the future.

Le Yaca began in a tiny, country village(Courchevel)in the French Alps in 1964.Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided that it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans they told the hopeful restaurateurs that they were crazy to think that people would drive 8 kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for 3 months and then decided: “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “ il n’y a qu’a le faire” which basically means “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag. But the name caught on with customers, who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms ” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States & opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought le Yaca in 2001. Phenomenal evening!! Our server, Terry, was absolutely the best!! Fabulous food, wonderful wine, delicious dessert!! So, so very sorry that Le Yaca in Virginia Beach will be closing this month!! Will miss them terribly!!
