This small-plate downtown favorite is one of the best new restaurants in Cincinnati. With a modern, airy vibe and a menu full of eclectic tastes, Crown Republic is the spot to go for a relaxing meal in the city. Be sure to start with the famous "everything knots," with everything-crusted knots and whipped vegetable butter. Pasta dishes include pappardelle with bolognese and ricotta gremolata and squid ink tagliatelle with lump crab and lemon. For an excellent accompaniment to dinner, try the "tipsy beet" cocktail with beet shrub, vodka, and cucumber.

We visited on a Thursday evening for the first time. The service and the food were both outstanding. My husband had the gnocchi with meatballs and my daughter had the mushroom capellini. I had the farro salad which was like nothing I've ever eaten. Would absolutely go back!

1st time here, You cook your steak 12 in from you on a 700 degree stone. I sweated, I smelled like smoke and was hot. But it was good. So enjoy!

It was a lovely day. The gentleman was very polite, and the option for indoor or outdoor was perfect. They even checked if we still wanted to be outside as it was unusually chilly.

What a great place in downtown for a good reasonable dinner before an event or going to an entertainment venue. We experienced great service, helpful information about wine selection offered during happy hour, and good quality food.
