Old Town Scottsdale
One of the best new restaurants in Scottsdale, The Phoenician Tavern is a prime eating spot in the heart of town. Diners will find remarkable views of the Phoenician golf course outside of the Tavern. Inside, they'll enjoy the restaurant's creative menu in a relaxed, upscale setting. Begin with a choice from the "Something to Snack On" menu, like pork poutine smothered fries or Nashville hot fried chicken bites. The "Crafted Burgers" menu is another highlight. Try the Phoenician patty melt, with Swiss cheese, thousand island dressing, and ale-braised onions.

We went your lunch and the food was fantastic. Most of us got the salmon BLT or the chicken mozzarella sandwich and they were all fantastic. The side salad was huge and fresh and the house chips were crunchy and delicious. Great food and great service. We’ve been for dinner several times and love the food but this was our first lunch and we will be going again. Great little neighborhood spot right beat Greyhawk.

Having been at another Valley steak house the night before we had a standard in mind. The menu was nice and the food was great. The prices were a bit high even for Old Town and the service was just okay. We felt like our server got disappointed when we weren’t the high spending table he hoped for. All things considered it was a goon night.

Gave this spot a try for restaurant week and I’m glad we did! Fresh modern twist on Asian inspire classics. Everything was a bit of a surprise in a fanatic way. The sake flight is defiantly made to share! Cucumber salad was delicious and you have to try the crispy rice trio. Outdoor seating was well lit and comfortable.

It's an excellent option for a date night or just a dinner night out with friends. Start with the Arriviederci antipasto or beef carpaccio salmone. For the main course, try some of the classics like spaghetti vongole, fettuccine alfredo, or rigatoni with vodka sauce. Another highlight? Have a "carefree" experience in the city of Carefree at Keeler's Steakhouse, one of the best new restaurants in Scottsdale. Located off of Ho Hum Road (yes, that's a real address), Keeler's is in the town's historic Spanish Village. The restaurant features a wide selection of traditional steakhouse favorites. Diners will find prime steaks and chops, market-fresh seafood, and plenty of soups and salads. Don't miss the sandwiches, either. Try the PK's burger with crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and more.

This newly-redesigned restaurant features some of the best Italian food in Arizona. Hand-made pastas are a highlight of the menu. Try the spaghetti and clams, made with roasted garlic, Calabrian chile, and wine. Sweet corn and wild mushroom ravioli features ricotta and Parmigiano cream sauce, and mafalde Bolognese features three-meat ragu and English peas. Stick around for dessert and the must-try "angel kisses." This special boasts grilled olive oil cake, cannoli cream, fresh strawberries, and malted chocolate pearls.

I made rezzies at Italian Duaghter because the online reviews were so good and I pay attention to that sort of thing. We ate in the lounge because we are over 60 and Happy Hour is a thing at our age. The menu was about as Italian as my Irish Aunt, but (and this is a big but) the fish and chips were good (maybe a little less batter and a little more fish) and so was the wedge salad. They were not stingy with the dressing or the bacon. Two things were outstanding: the service. Incredible. And there was little to no garlic on the food. Aren't you sick and tired of going out for dinner and having your food mistaken for a plate of vampire exorcism? I know I am. Well, The Italian Daughter knows better than to do that. It won't be my go-to place, but will def go again.
