The absolutely best place for sushi in Vancouver. The food is always excellent quality and the staff are so polite and attentive that I wouldn’t go anywhere else. We ordered a mix of items from rolls to gyoza to nigiri to tempura, all of which were well presented, good portions and very tasty. Excellent value for money. Keep up the great work guys!!

Atmosphere was vibrant, food and cocktails were delicious, and servers were very friendly. Unfortunately we were only a table of 2 and we chose a night that had several large parties that were seated before us. The kitchen was obviously slammed and so food took a very long time to come out. The basket of bread however slightly held us over until our food arrived. However it was worth the wait. The food was decadent! Because of the service delays, they comped a dessert for us which was a nice gesture.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Gastown, so I looked forward to showing my SIL this place. As my SIL was still recovering from a bout of diverticulitis, I didn’t order a bottle of wine. I had two wines by the glass, and we shared a few dishes. We started with their fabulous bread service, then a Dungeness Crab salad, an Artichoke tart and their Terrine of Fois Gras. Our “main” was their Agnolotti. I had a glass of 2022 Garnier et Fils Chablis with the salads and a glass of 2016 Synchromesh Pinot Noir from Storm Haven Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC with foie gras and agnolotti. The Artichoke Tart was half salad, half egg custard tart with pieces of artichoke between the two. It was a light, refreshing dish. The Dungeness Crab Salad was a visual surprise … the crab was placed between thin slices of radish and decorated with green leaves. It was interesting; perhaps a little too subtle in flavor for me. The foie gras terrine came with two thick pieces of brioche. The square of terrine was decorated with squares of wine jelly, and cherry halves. The terrine was soft and silky and the brioche so buttery. The star of the evening was the Sweet Corn Agnolotti. Pillows of mascarpone pasta were covered with pieces of sweet corn and a generous helping of sliced black truffle. This dish was “to die for” and I wanted to order a second plate. I love the food at L’Abattoir and dine here every time I come to Vancouver.

Always a great meal at the Nash. Service is 10/10. This was the YYC EXP and the value was excellent. Shrimp ceviche and pork tenderloin were standouts on the prix fix, but everything was tasty and beautifully presented.

Fries portion with burger was pretty small comparing… and otherwise regular tasting, so only 3* for this. also had rigatoni and a yuzu salad. Latter was great, however the chicken again fairly small. Service was nice, but forgot the starter completely without even noticing or mentioning. As the main had already arrived we decided not to insist. On the positive side, the ambience is lovely and the food came fast, and even the soft refills without even asking. So overall a 4*

Make this a destination when in Vancouver. Travelling from the UK we were given the place as a must go to, by a Canadian friend and it didn’t disappoint. Great staff, wine list carefully created and the sommelier helped us find the perfect match for our food, and the food was perfect, two of our group had a pasta dish which they raved about, my friend and I had the pork belly special that was cooked perfectly. The ambience is buzzy but not overbearing, people waxing lyrical about the food no doubt. Will return if ever back in Vancouver !

It’s my first time at Posto, and I’m impressed by the ambiance, service, and food. We tried the #8 pizza, and it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The arancini was absolutely amazing—far exceeded my expectations! Their cocktails are also fantastic. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu, both pizzas and non-pizzas. Oh, and a bonus: every Sunday, pizzas are 50% off!

The food is good and nice small place. I was asked if it was a special occasion when I made reservation and said it was my wife’s birthday. They asked again when they called to confirm we were coming. Then the server asked again when we were ordering. Simply put they asked over and over if it was an occasion, but didn’t offer or do anything to acknowledge occasion. Why bother???

A culinary adventure awaited us for our lunch time visit. The Korean chicken was a generous serving of lightly battered chicken, perfectly cooked and served with a not too spicy gochujang sauce and fresh coleslaw with a hint of kimchi. Absolutely delicious. The Cubano was equally tasty with layers of meat, cheese and pickles. Service was exceptional. The spicy Caesar was perfect. I highly recommend Rust Bistrobar for their creativity with their cuisine and the relaxed and welcoming ambiance.

A wonderful establishment in which to celebrate my mother-in-law's 77th birthday with brunch! She loved the in-house smoked salmon on the benny, the house made pastries, the potatoes, and the mimosa with fresh squeezed oj. The staff were fabulous and attentive, making her feel extra special. My mom and I have been dining at Uli’s for years and always have a good experience. Food and service are usually good. Today our server was exceptional. Emma B was the best server I’ve not only had at Uli’s but in general, in a long time. She was helpful and attentive without being overbearing, warm, chatty and clearly knowledgeable and fond of the place she worked. She cares and it’s evident from how she engaged with us and the other guests. The Valley Restaurant brings a European feel to Niagara dining. Tucked away on a quiet street in north St. Catharines close to Niagara-on-the-Lake this trattoria style restaurant serves homemade Italian inspired cuisine. Everything is made in house from the fresh baked bread, fresh pastas and sauces, gelato and incredible desserts. The menu includes veal, seafood, steak, a variety of pasta dishes including gnocchi, lasagne, ravioli. There is a full cocktail menu and fabulous wine list including local and imported selections. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a large fireplace, intimate tables, white linen tablecloths and impeccable service.

We had a wonderful meal at Vineland Estates restaurant. Such warm, professional service and a creative menu that stands above many of our recent dining experiences. The value here is remarkable. I am a member, which means both my wife and I enjoyed complimentary wine pairings on the three course lunch. Highly recommend!

We had a delicious dinner. The mushrooms on toast was the best I have ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a lot). The squid was tender & succulent. The steelhead was cooked perfectly. A most enjoyable meal.
