Very good good and professional service. All the dishes that we ordered were very tasty. The fish was extra salty and the chef and manager apologized for that. The dessert banana split was excellent. Looking forward to go there soon for breakfast,

Throughly enjoyed my restaurant week experience. Took recommendations from the staff and it turned out to be delicious. Especially loved the complexity and flavours in the cold soup appetiser. Attentive service as well, offering to top up my water and checking if all was good. Would recommend! Ps. The star of the dinner experience is the food itself. It’s one of the most satisfying meal we’ve ever had in Dubai, from the presentation to the well executed balance of the dishes. We took advantage of the restaurant week and ordered the special menu for the event. We had the terrine and oysters for appetisers, the terrine is so authentically French, each morsel is a trip to the French countryside. For the main course we had the beef cheeks braised in red wine sauce literally melt in your mouth, and the cod fish so excellently complimented with a white sauce of subtle richness, it was simply divine. Bonus was a reasonably priced wine list. The service was attentive without being intrusive, thank you Simon. Ambiance was moderate chic, they can do with more plants to make the otherwise cavernous space cozier. All in all - a fantastic experience we would like to repeat. We even advertised it to our friends for the restaurant week event. Highly recommended.

The whole set up is really quite special with individual enclosed round shaped pavillions accommodating around 6 tables. The down side though is if you’re with a big group the chatter noise can be more than what’s comfortable. The service is attentive and the waiter is knowledgeable about the food. Food is beautifully presented. I ordered veal carpaccio which in my opinion is a tad lacking in flavor and depth, the sea bass main course though is quite wonderfully done with just the right balance of the white sauce perfectly complimentary to the artichokes. Although it’s not extraordinary as sea bass seems to be the favoured fare appearing in almost all the menus in various restaurants in Dubai. Sadly the novelty is gone. Nonetheless - our entire table ordered the same main course (so much for novelty), and the dish was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Since we took advantage of the restaurant week menu - we had the full advantage of great value for money. It might be a different experience on a regular dining experience.

Returning to this resturant would depend on a broader menu coming available. What we were served was outstanding and creative.

First time at Uchi and loved it - the beef gyoza were amazing, some of the best i have had in Dubai and the Angus Sanbo was a great lunch bite. Was there as part of Dubai Restaurant Week so great value. (Tip: if you are driving the valet is on the opposite side of the road so don't follow google maps as very difficult to u-turn)

Name of dishes are very interesting And the presentation is even more interesting. Food taste is even better than these two. Be careful about the cost. Water bottles are priced at 33 dirhams each. We were charged for a dessert item which we did not order and the restaurant said it's on the house. partly our mistake as we did not check at the time of payment.
