We recently enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea at The Parlour. The menu featured a delightful selection of savory and sweet dishes, with several creative and unique twists that were particularly impressive. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who ensured our tea was constantly replenished. I would highly recommend The Parlour for a special occasion or simply an indulgent treat.

I’m a fan. Lunch. Pre-theater. Post-theater. Expertly prepared and fresh raw bar (no bits of shell floating in oysters). I’ve done beef all ways and it’s delish, from the tartare to the entrecotè to a burger that is top 3 in my London Burger Quest. My wife is a pescatarian and is thumbs up all the way. The vibe is always on, the service is spot-on, and this is my go-to if I’m overwhelmed st finding the “new thing” in London. Sometimes the familiar can be your routine extraordinary, and that’s a good thing. And did I say the prices were reasonable by London or New York standards?

I, my guest was seated in the rear area of the restaurant, and it was freezing cold. We were not the only ones to complain about it, so when you book before you are seated, make sure you don’t sit in the back area. Otherwise, the restaurant is a delight.

This is the place if you are looking for great steak in a casual and lively environment. We landed at Paternoster after a week filled with all the ethnic foods and found this perfect spot for more traditional food. The ribeye was on point. The separate sides lacked some selection on the veggie side, but the mash potatoes and fries were good. The comments from our table said it was the best meal of the week. I agree.

This was my second visit to The Sussex,the first being two months ago.I once again can not fault the service which on both occasions I’ve found it to be efficient,friendly,warm,welcoming & knowledgeable.On this my second visit i didn’t enjoy the food quite as much as i had on my first visit.We chose the Local And Wild Set Menu,which is what i had thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit,and there was nothing wrong with any of the courses served but possibly some of the dishes were less interesting to my palate this time….But it was still a very good experience,my guest loved it,and we will definitely return. Granary Square Brasserie, a new restaurant brand from the team behind the Ivy Collection.

The brasserie buzz through breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and cream teas in the afternoon. Throughout the day the lounge area will be perfect to relax with a drink or for informal meetings with luxurious vintage leather chairs and low brass tables. As the sun sets and we get ready for dinner, the DJ set will begin, and cocktails will flow.

The restaurant is beautiful with cut glass pendant lights, banquettes upholstered in silk and velvet and exotic kilim rugs. The striking central bar, located in the heart of the room, is perfect to survey the scene and enjoy an aperitif cocktail.
