London Restaurant Festival returns to OpenTable for its June 2024 edition, bringing set menus, special offers, drinks pairings and more to Londoners.

ABOUT AKIRA

The Japanese restaurant, AKIRA, presents a dining experience based on its ‘trinity of cooking’ principles - food, tableware, and presentation.

Highlights of the menu include imaginative sushi specialties and chargrilled kushiyaki skewers made from umami-rich wagyu beef, seafood, and vegetables.

AKIRA was nominated for Best Luxury Restaurant, Best Culinary Experience, and Best Restaurant London at the 2022 British Restaurant Awards.

We welcome diners from the age of 4. We may occasionally be able to accommodate babies, but the number of highchairs available is limited, please contact the restaurant in advance to check if this will be possible.

If you like sushi and are in London Paddington area, this is a highly recommended place. The treatment by the staff is remarkable, they know the product they offer and advise you wonderfully. The dishes are delicious and the sushi is very tasty, salmon roll and dragon roll are a must. When we went it was Wednesday night and it was busy which means it's quite famous for the quality of the food. appropriate price. Congratulations on your job well done!

My first dinner at ffiona’s was probably 10 years ago and now a trip to London doesn’t feel complete without a visit. Last night she didn’t disappoint with every dish being fresh, made using ingredients from nearby suppliers. Very memorable were the fresh sea scallops from the Shetland islands that were buttery and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Thanks to ffiona and her fantastic team for a great experience. Highly recommended!

Visited this restaurant for my birthday, everything was delicious, but the fillet steak was definitely a crowd favourite, cooked to the perfection and just melting in your mouth.. Our server Fabrizio was very attentive and made sure to make our evening extra special when he heard it was my birthday. I love Launceston Place. Every dish is different and bursting with flavour. Such a wonderful place to eat with friends. I was so disappointed to hear that it is closing.
