Everything was great, with the exception of the Dauphine's Martini. It is described as "scented with anise", but in actuality it is like drinking straight Pernod. Happily they switched it out for something more pleasing. The BBQ Shrimp were good, and passable for DC, but do not expect Pascal's Manale. Destiny was a rockstar! Perfectly attentive without being overbearing.

This is the best Mexican food I have had on the East Coast - actually, this is the best Mexican food I have ever had. Always come to Oyamel when in DC!

The food at Zaytinya is always amazingly delicious! The service is excellent and the restaurant is lovely. However, it is definitely loud, so ask for a quiet corner if possible.

Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. The current dining room experience is an 8-course tasting menu honoring the Mid-Atlantic's bounty. We offer an additional 3-course experience at our bar and bar area tables. Walk-in guests are welcome to enjoy the bar area as well.

The Dabney has been awarded one Michelin star every year since 2017, James Beard Foundation Best Chef Mid-Atlantic for Chef Jeremiah Langhorne in 2018, and Washingtonian Magazine's #1 restaurant in 2023.

This was an incredible experience, hilighting Valencian food and beautiful wine pairings! After our main savory courses we we're guided down to the after-dinner drink lounge, which was such a delicate, delightful finishing touch. Highly recommended!
