Everything about Banksia was excellent. The food was amazing - I had grilled barramundi and it was cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is beautiful, and we enjoyed the live music. Will definitely go there again.

I celebrated a birthday with seven other ladies with a High Tea. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, bottomless sparkling wine and delicious food. Maybe next time we would like to add on the garden tour as that would have been a lovely walk and can also tour Dame Nellie melba's house.

Using mainly proteins, vegetables and local artisan suppliers, the simplicity of the menu is naturally driven towards being gluten free. Food tasted great, no food envy from anyone, everyone loved each meal, and the drinks were great as well. The staff were extremely helpful towards the gluten allergies within our group, and there was still plenty to choose from for them. The staff were even extremely hospitable towards our 2yo, making him comfortable and interacting with him, making it easier for us to enjoy our meals because he was having a good time as well. Will definitely come back.

As usual, a lovely experience. Our waiter, Thibault, was charming and the sommelier also very helpful. The duck fat potatoes are incredible. The only improvements would be a couple more vegetarian based options. I had steak which was lovely but I do prefer vegetable based dishes. The side dishes are wonderful, plus the apple tart. The wines by the glass haven’t altered in a year so I think they could offer a couple of new wines by the glass which would be appreciated by the patrons.

Went here for dinner with husband and our 8 year old daughter. The service was outstanding, considerate, but not overly familiar. The food we ate was amazing. My husband had the gazpacho and the risotto - It was the best risotto we’d ever tasted! Cooked to perfection and so flavoursome! I had the anchovies and the tagliatelle- again, could not fault! Our daughter had the kids pasta - she devoured it and moved onto our meals too! Loved the atmosphere in the restaurant - we ate inside - it was lovely, dark, calming and cool. Can’t wait to visit again!

My partner is vegan, I'm not, but the food was such high quality you don't even think twice about it all being plant based, so is a good place for vegans to take their non-vegan friends. Would definitely recommend the meatballs and the taquitos (so yummy). Beware of accidentally ordering too much fried food (which was the mistake we made - filling up on batter rather than deliciousness - we couldn't even finish our patatas bravas!). Lovely, friendly staff. Interior and vibes were immaculate - such a lovely place for a special meal. Also shoutout to the lovely human mixing drinks. Would recommend the creme brulee martini for dessert. Will be coming back here for sure!

We had the bottomless lunch & the experience was fantastic. Our server, Andrea, was fabulous, explained the menu perfectly & kept our drinks topped up throughout our lunch. The food, OMG so delicious & the fish we both had for main was cooked to perfection! My mouth still waters thinking about it! We will definitely be back!

As we were a group of 9 we had to have a set banquet. That said, the staff were very happy to accommodate any special dietary requests. The food was great, lots of flavour and the right portions, no one went hungry. The service was outstanding. This was the perfect restaurant for a catch up lunch with friends. Highly recommend.

Dining experience was seafood excellence. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiling staff. Fresh clean surrounds. Sun sparkling on the water and soft cool breeze embraced us at our table. Once settled at our table and experienced staff brought menus and wine/beer list. Cold water to the table. Left to browse the menu not rushed but not left too long either. Ordered. Had cold and hot seafood platter. Cold Seafood oysters prawns bugs etc so fresh and presented artistically. Hot course came out after giving us a rest and time to savour the wine. This course ultimately a neat well organised Plate pleasing to the eye and palate with garnishes of lemon and Sauces. The chips served in a smaller bowl sprinkled with condiments was perfect. All in all ambience staff food and my partners company was a special lunch today.
