Wonderful experience! We had CJ as our server, and if we could give more than 5 stars we would! Very kind and attentive! The food was amazing as always. I had the gluten free pesto and my husband loved his pasta as well. Overall, we had a great dinner and are excited to go back!

The service is like no other. The food is not only pleasant to look at in presentation but leaves your taste buds doing the happy dance. I called ahead to alert the Chef of my food allergies and as a team worked together on my behalf to offer options that I could agree to. Not all of the choices did meet the allergens so I chose to not eat it. Simple! And yet at the end of the night I was not deprived nor did I feel cheated but full, satisfied and very taken care of. And I left with no symptoms. This was our second time at The Painted Lady and both times were perfect. Ryan is an amazing part of the team. Thank you Ryan! Thank you Chef!

South American
Southwest Portland
Lechon is a South American dining experience that seamlessly combines the fiery cooking of Argentina, Chile and Patagonia, along with creative inspiration of the chef. Enjoy perfectly charred 28-day dry-aged ribeye, grilled octopus with chorizo, housemade piquillo pepper and pork empanadas, slow roasted lechon, refreshing ceviches and smoked bone marrow.

Executive Chef Jaco Smith consistently pushes the boundaries on traditional Latin fare by incorporating wood-fired flavors into his cuisine while boasting a view of the Willamette River that few Portland restaurants can offer. Smith comes from a large family of cattle, sheep and grain farmers. He started cooking at a young age in his mother’s kitchen. His favorite childhood memories include the tastes of dulce de leche, flan and grilled breads, reminiscent of South American flavors and commonly found on South African kitchen tables.

Higgins is everything a Portland institution should be—seasonal, thoughtful, and grounded in a sense of place. I sat in the bar area and was warmly welcomed by Jill, who offered exceptional service throughout the night. Dinner began with a duck croquette that was easily one of the most memorable bites I’ve ever had—crispy exterior, delicate interior, perfectly seasoned, and accented with tarragon mustard and herbs. The main course, a pairing of braised local beef belly and Baja prawns, was beautifully balanced, with rich, comforting flavors over silky potato purée, broccoli, and turnip greens. Dessert was a butterscotch tart topped with ice cream—delightful. I also enjoyed a Bend Brewing Trade War Stout and the Tropic Pines IPA. Everything—from the presentation to the pacing—reflected quiet excellence and a respect for ingredients. Higgins feels like a conversation between the kitchen and the region: deeply rooted, elegant, and nourishing in every sense. A must-visit for anyone who values classic hospitality and Pacific Northwest cuisine.

Marché has been at the heart of the Willamette Valley's restaurant scene for more than 25 years– picking up honors from the James Beard Foundation and accolades from the national press along the way. We are most proud of our place in the community, whether it's as a regular lunch spot, a special-occasion date night, a family celebration or a place to gather with friends. We take our name from the French word for market — describing not only our location in Eugene, Oregon’s bustling 5th Street Market, but also our philosophy focused on fresh, seasonal, and local farmer's market fare. Inspired by French technique and committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, our menu evolves as we move through the seasons.

We serve lunch daily in our Parisian-inspired bar, brunch on weekends and dinner seven days a week. In warm weather, our patio is a sunny place to relax with a glass of rosé, surrounded by our herb garden.

Gracie’s was delightful! The food was delicious and the surroundings are beautiful. The service was prompt, professional and friendly. We had a leisurely brunch and never felt rushed. We’ll be back as soon as possible.

Located in the beautiful 8th floor atrium of The Nines Hotel Portland, Urban Farmer was founded on the idea that combining responsibly sourced food, high-quality ingredients and down-to-earth values would create a new kind of steakhouse, where people could create memories and communities could thrive. Delicious salmon, oysters were incredibly fresh, the potato purée like silk and buttery and the butterscotch sundae was crazy good. Our server was very kind and helpful (Diamond).

I loved my prime rib sandwich. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I liked the casual and fun atmosphere. We did not have to wait for our reservation. Parking can be a problem and the background music was too loud for my taste, but over all I enjoyed the experience and plan to go again.
