The food was excellent, as always, and we had a lovely time. We really appreciated being seated at the table we requested in our reservation notes—it was a thoughtful detail. However, we were celebrating our 1st anniversary at what has always been our favourite spot in the city, and it was disappointing that there was no acknowledgment of the occasion. A simple “congratulations” or even a candle would have meant a lot. With the 20% gratuity already included, we expected warm and attentive service as we always experienced here. Unfortunately, our server was cold and disengaged throughout the evening and wasn’t very attentive, and unlike the other tables around us, we didn’t even receive a simple goodbye when we left. The food was great, but my husband and I were very disappointed since it was such an important occasion. With cold service and no acknowledgment, it was a very big disappointment. We love this place but might start looking for a new favourite.

We ordered the tasting menu. Loved every bite, our server was amazing, and the other service we received was perfect. I would get up, and come back to a newly folded napkin. A new set of utensils every course. Maybe I’m not used to high end service, but this place set a high standard! Will never stop recommending this place!

Table for 8 was ready on time. Waiter was a sweetheart of a guy (and a Raven’s fan, as am I) very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Food came perfect as always. Waterdown Keg is my favourite Keg and we drive by two closer one to go to this one.

This intimate restaurant surprises with thoughtful cooking and warm, attentive service. Each dish was crafted with balance and care, elevating familiar flavors into something memorable. We began with Tiger Shrimp—five plump shrimp in a creamy white wine and garlic sauce, rich and refined. The Beets & Goat Cheese Salad offered contrast: roasted beets, goat cheese, orange, and seeds over fresh greens, all tied together with a house balsamic dressing. A raspberry sorbet intermezzo was a refreshing and elegant pause before the mains. The Beef Truffle Pasta was indulgent: tagliatelle tossed with tender beef tenderloin in a velvety truffle cream, finished with Parmesan. The Duck—while its skin wasn’t crisp—was flavorful and tender, its sweet orange reduction complemented by caramelized fig, apple, and oven-roasted potatoes. We ended with a Polish Pavlova and a chocolate brownie, both well-executed, along with a smooth Americano. Every plate impressed. We’ll be back—and soon.

The atmosphere was very good, I ordered the Blackened Chicken and it was delicious. I have been there a few times and of course I will be going back again. Our waiter Joshua was very attentive. Don’t have any complaints here.

The atmosphere was very good, I ordered the Blackened Chicken and it was delicious. I have been there a few times and of course I will be going back again. Our waiter Joshua was very attentive. Don’t have any complaints here.

The setting is absolutely stunning—nestled by the waterfalls and surrounded by lush greenery, it’s a uniquely peaceful atmosphere, especially since I was lucky enough to get a window seat. The service: I was greeted at the door which was held for me by Malik. I didn’t get the names of the hostess or the girl who showed me to my seat, but they were both lovely young girls . I was seated promptly. Greg took my order. Ali brought my soup and scallops. He was friendly & polite with a beautiful smile. The one criticism is service lagged between courses. I waited 25 minutes between the soup and scallops. Greg was attentive but never intrusive. Candace was friendly and pleasant. She was attentive refilling my water glass. I opted for 3 appetizers: The white minestrone soup the asparagus tart and the scallops. every course was beautifully plated and full of flavour. The scallops were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented in a half clamshell in beurre blanc sauce and topped with lemon breadcrumbs. The standout for me was the asparagus tart. Puff pastry mornay sauce shaved asparagus Gruyère caramalized onion purée chervil. Really delicious. The locally sourced ingredients and seasonal focus really elevate the experience. Pricing reflects the quality, but it feels entirely justified. Highly recommend for celebrations, or simply treating yourself to an elegant meal in a stunning location. Only criticisms are every dish was heavy handed with Chervil. I would have preferred if the chervil was used as a garnish on top of the soup and not as an ingredient. With every spoonful of soup I got a mouthful of chervil. And the soup could have been hotter. It was lukewarm. But very very yummy and unique. I have nothing to compare the soup with because I’ve never had a soup like it before.

The food was okay overall, but the appetizer (charcuterie board) was definitely the highlight. Service was excellent—really friendly and attentive. It was a bit too cold inside to take off my jacket, which made it less cozy. Still, not a bad experience overall.

The cherry on top (or should I say, the bubbles on top): my daughter was treated to a complimentary glass of prosecco for her birthday. She felt like a queen, and I got serious mom points. Win-win.
