About the restaurant
17. September 2022 - 3. Oktober 2022

HEINZ Wurst- und Hühnerbraterei, run by Heilmaier OHG, is a traditional family business founded by Josef Heinz in 1906.
Since then we have been operating it in the 5th generation.
Since 1906 our motto has been...

Go over to Heinz's, there's something fine.

The establishment is only open during the Oktoberfest.

About the restaurant
The aim of the Münchner Knödelei is the preservation and distribution of the cultural asset "Knödel", which will be presented to a broad target group from all over the world at the Oktoberfest. Local and high-quality gastronomy with a varied, healthy range and attractive prices convey Bavarian tradition with flair - far away from burgers, curry sausages and fries.
It becomes a knödliges pleasure when the common bread, potato and bacon dumplings invite all their relatives to a family reunion at the Münchner Knödelei: Rustic mountain kas and chanterelle dumplings, spicy liver, spinach and beetroot dumplings, but also sweet apricot and airy curd cheese dumplings. For each taste the appropriate Bavarian Schmankerl is offered.
The quality of the meals is controlled by the inn in the Au. There, traditional dumpling recipes are rediscovered all year round and new creations are developed.

Who would think that you would be eating delicious veal ragu at Oktoberfest? A great way to start our afternoon, sitting outside meeting people.
