64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

A great visit to 64 Goodge Street. The snacks - specifically the chicken liver parfait, were outstanding! The red mullet bisque was fantastic … full of flavour and moreish and desserts my favourite were all outstanding on our table! A warm welcome on arrival and perfect service throughout. Will looked after our table and was a real gem … incredibly polite and professional. Will be dining again.

I like this restaurant a great deal. The ingredients are always fresh and the choice of dishes seasonal. This time, I had an Italian beef stew. My colleague had skate. Both dishes were superb. The bread was as good as ever. I’m very glad that I discovered this place when I started working in Soho.

Bar Crispin: January Comfort with a Side of Elegance A quiet Tuesday lunch in January might not scream excitement, but Bar Crispin knows how to turn a grey day into a little slice of joy. Tucked away and effortlessly chic, this spot delivers every time—food, service, and a vibe that makes you want to linger. The crispy polenta with aioli and Parmesan is a must-order. Think golden, crunchy perfection paired with creamy indulgence. The black pepper butter cabbage was a revelation—simple, yet so flavourful you’ll wonder why you don’t eat cabbage like this every day. We also went for the Hartgrove coppa—silky, rich, and the perfect nibble to go alongside their expertly crafted margarita. The burrata with roasted pumpkin and pickled red onions balanced earthy, creamy, and tangy notes beautifully. And just when we thought we were done, the fried choux pastry with burnt honey caramel arrived, a dreamy end to a fantastic meal. Service was lovely, as always—attentive but unfussy. I’ve been to Bentleys several times in the last year. It’s very good well presented food. I like the menu - particularly the range of starters. The seafood is as good as it should be. Service is very good, attentive but not intrusive. I like the traditional ambience. I’ve only ever eaten upstairs but the bar area has banquette seating and you can sit outside too.

I have dietary issues and Luke our server was very understanding and diligent about this he went above and beyond making sure I was aware of any items I could not have. I went through four annoying verification steps to write this review and I would have gone through ten more. One of those nights that just makes your week. Deep fried parsnips, sweetbreads, pork cheeks and steak. Just wonderful. Were treated with such courtesy and care. Deeply appreciated.

This is the first time we visited this restaurant and it far exceeded its 4.2 star rating on trip advisor. We were served by a waiter called Abdul and he was simply brilliant. The menu was simple and the food was great. We visited the restaurant early before the theatre and it was a little quiet at first, but the atmosphere was nice once a few more tables were filled. My boys of 11 and 7 years old enjoyed their food and both declared that this restaurant was the best restaurant they had ever been to. We recommend this restaurant and we will visit again when we’re next in London for a family outing.

We had a fantastic dining experience with friends at Kioku yesterday. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was perfect, and the wine selection was impressive. Although a bit confused at the start of our evening, the personnel made up for that later on. We were complimented with some wagyu temaki, and everything that came from the kitchen was outstanding. What a fantastic evening. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was beautifully prepared, and the presentation was fun, fresh, and lovely. We also got the wine and cocktail pairing. The drinks were so interesting, and paired perfectly with the food. More importantly, the sommelier explained each wine and cocktail to us, carefully explaining the flavors, why that drink was chosen, and the many tones of the drinks. Was very fun and enlightening. All of the staff (and there were many taking care of us!) were just incredible. Knowledgeable, fun, friendly, personable staff. We even got to tour the kitchen and take pictures with the chef and team. Just a fantastic FIVE hour experience. Thankyou.

Friend and I decided to have dinner at Sette prior to going to the cigar lounge at the hotel. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The food was just as good, we had the octopus for starter and the venison for mains both were delicious. If you want a nice relaxing dinner I would definitely recommend Sette.

Simpsons remains my favourite restaurant - the ambience and the food is second to none. Slight delay in getting some drinks but management sorted us out. Also strange situation where one of us got given the wrong main course but this was also rectified. But relatively minor details, stunning snacks/starters/mains and desserts..can't wait to come back, and planning to do so twice more this year!

Highly recommend Sola Soho for its exquisite food and warm ambiance. The staff were exemplary: friendly and attentive without being obsequious, and happy to engage in conversation. They elevated our evening into an experience, not just a meal. We greatly appreciated the wine recommendations and opportunity to sample a few choices. Seated by the kitchen, we observed a sense of relaxed order all evening amongst the whole team, which is testament to the management of the restaurant. Without question, this was the best of fine dining experiences, which will remain a lasting memory.

Story Cellar has become one of my absolute favorite spots in London. The food is fantastic—every dish is thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The service is equally impressive, with a staff that truly knows how to make you feel welcome and taken care of. That said, the ambiance can depend on where you’re seated. On my most recent visit, I was initially placed at the low counter facing the street. While it might suit some, it wasn’t ideal for me, especially with a bad back. I mentioned it to the host, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating, quickly finding me a more comfortable spot. This level of attention and care, paired with their incredible food, is why Story Cellar is a must-visit for me every time I’m in London. It’s worth the trip, and I always look forward to returning.

This was my second visit to The Sussex,the first being two months ago.I once again can not fault the service which on both occasions I’ve found it to be efficient,friendly,warm,welcoming & knowledgeable.On this my second visit i didn’t enjoy the food quite as much as i had on my first visit.We chose the Local And Wild Set Menu,which is what i had thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit,and there was nothing wrong with any of the courses served but possibly some of the dishes were less interesting to my palate this time….But it was still a very good experience,my guest loved it,and we will definitely return. I ordered a bottle of their Nutbourne Vineyard Blush rose to enjoy with our meal and we both really enjoyed it and thought it to be excellent value.

A recommendation from the Michelin Guide App. A quiet lunch date with my wife, we had the set menu which was a selection from the main menu, The tempura prawns, haddock and Crumble were fantastic, Truffle triple cooked chips were not overpowering as is the case with many truffle options elsewhere. The whipped Stilton and sourdough was devine followed by the gammon, topped with the perfect egg. All of the staff we encountered were welcoming, caring which was a breath of fresh air , as nothing was too much trouble. A great first visit.

A nice pub with good food. There seemed to be a lack of staff for the service so things were not top notch. The food could have been amazing but the main course was let down by slightly overcooked fish and the fish had no flavor at all which let me very disappointed. I must say the starter and dessert were fantastic and the accompaniments to the fish were really great but as the fish was meant to be the star it was a let down. They did give our two soft drinks for free but really if a restaurant is trying to be a gastro pub they need to tick all the boxes. I would go back just to see if it was an off day but I have heard similar things from other people

From the very beginning of the creative process, Jonny, Isa and the team think about how food and drink work together. The menu features their explorations of ingredients, dishes and drinks from around the world, inspired by the culinary history and diversity around us. The wine list is set out chronologically, following the historic beginnings of wine to present day, with over 350 wines from classic producers to the New World, as well as acknowledging the root of viti-vinoculture with wines from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey.

As well as the welcoming main dining room, Trivet has a terrace, wine bar and private dining space. Monday nights transform into the LaBombe Wine Bar.

What they discovered on that journey was an idea that later became a restaurant - Volta do Mar – meaning; to return from the sea.

Our menus at Volta do Mar showcase the delicious regional cuisine of Portugal and celebrate the international culinary confluences from its trading past. We cook Portuguese classics and dishes from the countries and places along its former trade routes, touching on Brazil, Cape Verde, Angola, Mozambique, Goa, Macau and Japan. We want to celebrate the diversity and interconnection of Portuguese food and culture across the globe.

The dinner took about 1 hour to arrive at the table. The staff is nice and attentive but they are not prepared to serve when the restaurant is full.

It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. It now boasts a beautiful 60 cover dining room, which opens onto an open 20 cover cobbled courtyard with olive trees as well as an intimate private dining room. Westerns Laundry has won numerous awards for excellence and originality and is a firm favourite on the London dining scene.
