Delicious cocktails and food. The fried quail was one of the best things I've ever eaten. We loved our server. The ambiance was warm and lovely and the open kitchen is done in a unique way and was cool to watch.

Located in Oakland’s historic Grand Lake District, Bardo is a neighborhood lounge and restaurant inspired by the comfort and camaraderie of a mid-century dinner party. Drawing on the celebration and elegance of old school entertaining, we envisioned a space for friends and neighbors to enjoy amazing food, cocktails, conversation and great music.

Our lounge is a swank living room, furnished with hand-picked finds from antique and vintage markets from Palm Springs to Portland. Our mezzanine dining room features a rotating menu of fresh, seasonal supper-fare with local and sustainably sourced meats, fish and produce. While we think the food, drinks and atmosphere are all great reasons to visit us, it’s the relationships with our friends, neighbors and guests that is the driving force behind Bardo.

Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! Bug be warned about Lakeshore Ave. Left and my car windows were smashed in. I knew better to have anything in the car. But apparently that didn’t matter. I’ll never be returning bc the area just isn’t good, sadly.

We drove up from SF because I was excited for their burger. The one I had every few months since 2019. I should have known that when the regular restaurant wasn’t open and we were required to eat at Studio Barndiva, things were not going to be the same as my meal there in 2022. My bf got the NEW burger was mid- I’m not a fan of a burger with tons of cheese jammed in the center. He gave it an 8/10. (The original burger was a hard 10.) I ordered the crispy chicken, which was more like a chicken katsu with Indian spices, and it was great. Would I drive 75 minutes to eat at Studio Barndiva again? Absolutely not. How can I sign up to be notified when their regular restaurant and brunch begin again?

Wow, what a DELICIOUS meal we enjoyed tonight. From the PICKLED VEGETABLES, the LITTLE LETTUCE SALAD, to the my DUNGENESS CRAB TAGLIOLINI, the food was on point. All four of us enjoyed our respective entrees. There was a small snafu with our second round of drinks, but the EXCELLENT ATTENTIVENESS of the manager, Sarah, quickly and happily resolved everything. Our wait staff was very attentive too. We will definitely be back for dinner again and we were thrilled that CAMPER delivered…AGAIN.

We have been to Dry Creek several times and last night celebrated my sons 40 birthday. We arrived on time and were immediately seated. Service was excellent, We did the three course meal and everyone in the party enjoyed all three courses. Charlie has a great thing going with Dry Creek and we are looking forward to trying his new restaurant in north Healdsburg. Highly recommend!!

Four of us had a wonderful pre holiday lunch and we are all extremely satisfied customers for close to 20 years. The food was amazing, we began with fried calamari and the cauliflower soup. We shared the branzino (deboned ) sole fish, lamb chops and the chicken souvlaki. For dessert two of us enjoyed Judy's ice cream sundae and an order of galaktourrko and the chocolate cake. Delicious.. Our server Pryush was beyond outstanding, very helpful and extremely pleasant.

Our 2nd time to dine here. The service and food reflect on the consistent Michelin ratings ( 7 years ) Our specialist Martin was at the top of his game Truly helpful explaining the fine details of each serving Chef Yamamoto did not disappoint. Enjoyed the Wagyu and the Duck on top of the dumpling. The Sea Breem had an amazing ponzu gel Only complaint is the year 2020 vintage of Rindo should not be served since that’s a horrible year for wine because of the Napa fires. Still good but it clouded my judgement on the wine because of the suspect issues of the fires to the vines Never the less we had an epic dinner Arigato🙏🏼🇯🇵

Great food. Nice ambience. When it first opened for lunch, it was a bit chilly with its tall ceilings. By the time we left it was warmer. Great pastas!

Plates had unique flavors. Guaccome salsa and chips were very fresh. Coconut prawns sweet, crispy, crunchy and delicious. Tacos were filling and tasty. Chefs had some real talent.

I am the biggest fan of pasta Moon. The minute I walked in, I was greeted by a wonderful hostess. The ambience was wonderful great high ceilings the service unbelievable! Fabio and Luigi were so kind, I was treated so well. I had the pomegranate, persimmon salad. It was the best salad I’ve had in four years! The Ahi Tuna linguine was so delicious I was dancing in my chair! The pasta was homemade perfectly cooked. The Aji tuna was tender and delicious! it was the best meal I’ve had in so long. I am a huge fan. The pasta is fresh. I could eat it every day. I am definitely going come here once a month.

The food is phenomenal. The atmosphere is lovely. Each dish has its own flavor profile, the flavors are amazing, the quality and presentation is amazing. A meal I dream about until the next time we go back. Love the Oxtail Stew, the meat platters are fantastic. The tissue bread, the artichokes, the mussels are all fantastic. And desserts are out of this world.
