I was very impressed with the new head chef’s work. Gaucho Charlotte St has always been very good and my go to place, but I was a bit apprehensive when I learned the head chef had changed. I need not have worried. My steak was cooked to perfection beyond anything I’d had previously. I’d call that a Miricle! What I liked about it was that the medium rare request was so perfectly followed, and more, not too wet, not too dry, just perfect.

We go al a carte menu. There is no doubt that their food is delishious. My partner is a steak man and will say it is the best! I had fish which was lovely, and the cheese cake was heaven. It was a pricey meal, but no complaints on service or food.

Food and service were great. We took advantage of a multi course prix fixed menu and some drink and wine specials. Next time we will try their steaks. There were a number of steak offerings priced by the weight.
