We dined here for Xmas Eve and it’s was the perfect spot. The environment is cozy and quiet so you can have a conversation with your whole table. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly. I recommend the salmon and steaks. We were also excited to see some traditional dishes from past Xmas eves with our grandma under the special Xmas Eve selections. My only constructive feedback was the courses were served too close together but it was a busy night for them.

Kenny was our server and was just so pleasant. He was very busy but still gave us the attention and advice we asked about the menu. I did the 3 course meal and upgraded to the filet, which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the baha shrimp pasta. It was good as well, and full of large shrimp. His only complaint was he wish you could order half as much because he could only eat half of it, and know we will probably end up throwing out the leftovers.

The food had great flavor. You would think being a steakhouse they would be able to cook steaks to the correct temperature. The prime rib was tough and was extremely under done. Ordered medium and got it rare. Other than that everything else was amazing. Our server was awesome. It was nice and quiet and had a very cozy feeling to it.

The decor is beautiful. The plates are beautiful too. The food is presented in a lovely fashion and tasted fantastic. We will be returning soon and often. We love Spezia. Whenever we are in Omaha, we find a way to have dinner here. Our server Christine did a great job making us feel welcome: from getting the manager to find us some light in our very dark booth to checking in on us to make sure we were happy to refilling drinks without our asking. She promised to pace our meal and she delivered. Christine was attentive without being intrusive. The food here does not disappoint. The artichoke and crab dip arrived piping hot. The walleye was tender and flavorful. My son enjoyed the salmon. The restaurant was busy. I am glad the locals appreciate quality food and service. I know that my son and I do.
