Southern hospitality, fine coastal cuisine, and well-chosen wines in a comfortable, elegant 1900 mansion have made Elizabeth on 37th a favorite destination in Savannah since 1981. Inspired by Chef Elizabeth Terry, Elizabeth on 37th continues to serve a sumptuous combination of traditional and innovative dishes, directed by Chef Kelly Yambor. The wine program and service staff are led by owners Greg and Gary Butch. Elizabeth on 37th is located in the Victorian District. The mansion, built for a cotton broker, is decorated with historic Savannah colors and patterns, fresh flowers, original paintings and ceramics, and is entered through fragrant herb gardens. *We are able to seat parties larger than 8, please contact the restaurant for availability via phone or email. We do have a lot of fun at Georgia Sea Grill, but we take our commitment to the freshest ingredients very seriously. That's why we grow our own. Only by sourcing our favorite vegetables, fruits and herbs right here at our own Potlikker farm can we be absolutely assured that we are serving nothing but the freshest, healthiest seasonal flavors. Once perfectly-plated with locally-sourced seafood, beef, pork, lamb, poultry, or our own Satilla Ponds farm-raised catfish, you will see and taste the difference that locally-grown brings to the table.

The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

I went there for a business dinner and apart from the table taking 20 mins to be ready even through the restaurant was half empty and there were 3 other open 4 tops available, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The noise level was pretty high but I think that was due to a large table of males who were a little over excited, as well as the acoustics of the room. The cocktails were complex and interesting and I could not fault the food. The service was perfectly acceptable. Would recommend.

Stories of grits kissed by the morning sun, of shrimp boiled in secrets whispered by generations past. Here, flavors mingle like old friends at a backyard barbecue, each dish a love letter to the land and sea that birthed it. From the sizzle of fried chicken to the soulful embrace of Brunswick stew, every bite carries the weight of history and the promise of tomorrow. So let’s raise a glass to the South, to its timeless traditions and ever-evolving tastes. Because in the end, it’s not just about the food—it’s about the journey, the people, and the stories shared around the table.
