Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

Cooper’s Hawk never disappoints. All food options are amazing. Love the staff at this location also. Great spot to meet up with a high school friend from out of town and catch up. My friend loved the wine tasting in the tasting room beforehand.

Service (Don) was stellar---personable, professional and attentive. Food was amazing--perfectly seasoned, attractively presented and ingredients were top quality. Location on the bay provided incredible sunset views. Only 2 minor issues--restaurant was kept a bit too cold and there is no valet during the weekdays. Otherwise a perfect 10!

Always a favorite stop of ours when we visit Sarasota. Food is always good, staff is always great. The live music is also fun. But can be a little loud but still sets the vibe.

We started with Happy Hour in the lounge. We had a table for 2. Service was immediate! Drinks and prices were great. We had an appetizer of the firecracker shrimp which did not disappoint. Incredible dinner! Grouper bites and Category 5 shrimp appetizers were as good as it gets. The delicious fishcamp chowder is almost a meal in itself. Finally, the lobster tacos also were great. Another board member and I treated a senior level employee, who was departing to join another local organization, to a terrific lunch at Parkshore Grille. The table was off in a side corral that made it easy to talk, yet still have a nice window view. Our server was perfect, always serving ice tea refills when glasses were low. All three meals were excellent; a blackened grouper with a side wedge salad, a grouper sandwich with delicious Frits, and a unique crab and grouper cake. Closed the meal with a small, smith and creamy, chocolate mousse that we shared. Overall a great dining experience on a rare cold day in St. Pete.

Our waiter Larry was very kind and struck up a nice conversation with my son about hockey. We loved the shrimp and pork belly apps. Did the 3 course menu (app, entree and gelato for $50) and were quite pleased! The hazelnut and peanut butter cookies and cream gelato were so good!

We had a great time at the Spinners Rooftop Grille, their special catch of the day snapper with crab cake was delicious and good size portion. The tuna tartare was great too. Drinks were okay. It was fun watching the restaurant spinning while dining. Would recommend for special occasions.

Sushi was great with some unique rolls. Server was friendly and helpful. Drinks were good but a little slow coming from bar. 3 rolls and 2 drinks was $110 so a little bit pricey value wise but I guess expected in a mall setting. We would go back.

Overall wonderful dinner shared w friends. The restaurant policy on corkage might be reviewed? Sardinia offers many wines unfamiliar to us, but $40/bottle (and one bottle limit) dissuaded us from bringing high end plonk from our cellar. We’d come more often if we could pour some of our good stuff.
