   I lived in northern Louisiana for 8 years as a child and have been missing some of that states great food. I searched for a Cajun restaurant near me and found Lola’s. I had to give it a try. My husband and I ate a late Friday afternoon dinner there. We arrived at 4:30pm and the place was not busy at all. The atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. The hostess who seated us was welcoming and explained the different seating areas that are available. We ordered the Crawfish Étoufée and the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp. Both dishes were very tasty. We will be back to sample more of their menu items, such as the jambalaya, red beans and rice, and of course, gumbo, as well as to try their Sunday brunch which offers Beignets. I would definitely recommend eating at Lola’s.

   I visit Lola’s whenever I’m in Vegas. Love it! Best Cajun food this side of New Orleans!

   I really had high hopes but was let down tonight. It wasn’t busy but our server could hardly be bothered to serve us. After one soda we were told they ran out of coke. The food tasted alright, but my crab cakes were not hot and my husband’s etoufee was the smallest portion ever. It would bave been nice to express concern over the temperature but the sever wasn’t around.

   Great restaurant as usual-love the fun, colorful and upbeat atmosphere. The service at the bar is slow and we were often ignored. There was no follow-up by the waitress. Food is delicious.

   Have been there several times but We asked if the crawfish were fresh last night was told yes but we know fresh verses frozen and these were definitely frozen and for the price don’t lie. They up charged them because of Fat Tuesday, also service was very slow on getting our water to the table we were half way done with dinner before we got water on the table. One good thing the oysters were amazing but we won’t be going back. Need to make sure they are staffed up for events and don’t say fresh when they definitely arent we would rather tell the true than mis lead us and then upcharge.

    While visiting our son in Vegas we learned were googling restaurants and stumbled across Lola’s. As lovers of Nola and the food we decided to give it a try. The food was so good!!! We haven’t had food like that outside of New Orleans and we were so impressed. We will definitely return every time we visit our son. Also, everyone was so nice and attentive.
