Really nice restaurant and has a nice vibe about it. Pastas we had were delicious. Coffees were excellent and clearly they are known for them judging by people popping in just for those. The negatives were that the waiter was focused around the bar area and not attentive to customers and it wasn't a busy time. We gave up on ordering desserts and went to the bar to ask for some coffees. Also we thought the lunch food options on the menu were too limited. Overall we would recommend OGI because the food and ambiance are excellent. Just a couple of things could improve in our opinion.

Live locally and have been going to Oscar Cooper since it opened. Never fails to disappoint! Had friends in town from interstate and they loved the venue, food and staff. The food was amazing! My partner is vegan, I'm not, but the food was such high quality you don't even think twice about it all being plant based, so is a good place for vegans to take their non-vegan friends. Would definitely recommend the meatballs and the taquitos (so yummy). Beware of accidentally ordering too much fried food (which was the mistake we made - filling up on batter rather than deliciousness - we couldn't even finish our patatas bravas!). Lovely, friendly staff. Interior and vibes were immaculate - such a lovely place for a special meal. Also shoutout to the lovely human mixing drinks. Would recommend the creme brulee martini for dessert. Will be coming back here for sure!

Great dinner, wagyu omasake. The matching sake and wine were great! Thanks to Christ, on serving and advising on the sake and wine. Food is surprising great. Not expecting much but vastly impressive. Fusion Japanese and western dishes. Not cheap (A$500 for two) but not expensive in international standard and for the standard of food. Enjoyed thoroughly.
