Of the four of us dining we all had an issue with our main courses - overcooked trout, dried out pork belly, and flavorless short ribs on a bed of gummy polenta.

The evening started with our wonderful server, Candise. The kitchen helped adjust a menu item that was note perfect in size, flavor and presentation. Kudos to this customer friendly service. We shall return.

In a word: “meh”. Not at all what I expected based on images and marketing. Juan, our server never made eye contact or introduced himself. I could read his name tag. Zero welcome. All employees walk around like donkeys on a trail -just doing a job. I could see them interact with others in the same manner. $15 for extremely salty 4 ounces of pozole. Croquettes are “interesting” attempt at southwest fusion. Red and green chile was burnt or old. Side of carrots some cooked. Others still hard. Mac n cheese was plain and needed salt. Tasted the flour roux and butter not cheese. Disappointing.

Luminaria offered a set menu on Christmas Eve. Everything tasted as if had been prepuchased frozen and simply warmed up for our dinner. The dessert was inedible. We had a red velvet cake and a buche de Noel. They were horrible. We have had fine meals here in the past; however, 12/24 deserves 1* at best.

It was Christmas Eve and Santa Fe was very busy. We held our breath.... it turned out to be a marvelous experience. Food was perfect, drinks a delight and atmosphere just right for the night before Christmas. We had celebrated in other 'big name" restaurants in years past - this one will be our go-to from now on.

I found the food to be very average, not nearly as great as I expected it to be. Neither the burrito or the chimichanga had much flavor. Now, the beans that came with the burrito were wonderful. The staff were fine. Not a restaurant I would return to.

Delicious food in an intimate setting, we enjoyed our blue crusted trout and ribeye as well as the pork belly, though we were disappointed that they were out of one of the key ingredients in that dish - the peaches. As with many things in life, it was the simple things that made our experience top notch, the mouth watering assortment of breads in the bread basket, and the staff. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive, kind and worked collaboratively to achieve an overall vibe that felt at ease, and like they've known you for years. Bravo Luminarias! We'll done.
