   Only offered buffet which was over crowded and mediocre. Waited 15 minutes in the omelette line and for coffee and beverages. If they knew they wouldn’t be able to handle the crowd levels they shouldn’t take reservations.

   It was a super busy weekend, so maybe service is better at other times, but we dined here twice and had to wait a good deal longer than I expected to receive service.

   Great experience as expected when eating at the Ritz! Server was friendly and my daughter loved the grilled cheese from the kids menu!

   This was our anniversary dinner, and it was frustrating. We had a 6:30 pm reservation and weren’t seated until 7:05 pm. The hostess forgot we had been waiting and then couldn’t remember our name - and she got frustrated with me when I kept checking on our table. This waitress was great, but this made us late to an event we had planned for the evening because of our botched reservation. There were no accommodations or discounts applied to our check for waiting over half an hour for a table that was “almost ready,” so I paid full price for a meal for two that we had to rush through and run out the door. Very disappointing.

   Had a great time in New Orleans taking granddaughter and kids to see Taylor. Decided to go to Ritz Carlton for brunch. Made reservation for 11 am . Was notified if we didn’t show it was a 75$ fee. Ok, seems harsh but ok. Showed up 1045 was told table was just about ready. Was finally seated at 1130. We had a 4 top they squeezed another chair. Waited 10 minutes for server. Came to table asked if we wanted water and coffee. We said yes water finally came, no coffee waited 10 more minutes server oh yeah you wanted coffee. I asked could we see a wine list and get an orange juice. Never got either. Added cream to coffee had to use a knife to stir. Never was offered coffee refill had to flag down a manager for water. As I looked around everyone was using knives to stir coffee. Maybe a new trend. Food finally came after 25 more minutes. Good flavor. Asked for check waited 10 more minutes. Server was curt and not engaged at all. Look this may seem petty but when you are Ritz Carlton and charge what you charge the service standards are higher. Again dropping 165 for breakfast and another 120 for drinks while we waited. So disappointed in an experience we were looking to enjoy to end our weekend. PS a guy was in lobby while we were waiting and told me he waited over 2 hours for room service never came and he had to come down to lobby for coffee. Ritz Carlton motto ladies and gentleman serving ladies and gentleman are missing here!

   Disappointed. Server brought my food and never checked on me again. I ran out of my drink partway through and was finished eating a full 15 mins before I could get the server’s attention to get the check. Food was ok.

   super cute place. a ways inside of the hotel, has a lounge attached to the front that has the same menu. I appreciate them meeting my request for a booth, though I didn’t realize it would be for 4-8 people. lol. The food was pretty okay. steak was perfectly cooked, fish was cooked a little over, but all in all pretty okay. feels very tourist nice food restaurant. appropriately placed on canal street.

   We are the Blue Crab Beignets , paella and the Lobster Carbonara and they wereall fabulous. Highly recommend this gem.
