A Wine Spectator award-winning restaurant since 2005 with “Best of“ awards since 2008, Madison's wine list features an extensive wine cellar. Madison’s sommeliers help with selections. Please contact madisonsreservations@oldedwardsinn.com with any inquiries.

All reservations are for inside Madison's only. Seating outdoors in the Wine Garden or Rooftop Terrace is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is seasonal.

Custom celebration cakes may be ordered for the table. 24 hours notice is required. Outside cakes may be served for a $35 cakeage fee.

    The dining experience was lovely. We had a great server and excellent meal. The desert was wonderful too. The only problem was with the actual time. We had a reservation for 8:30, but there were plenty of empty tables and people with larger parties were even seated before us.

    My husband and I live about an hour from Highlands and we frequently come for the afternoon to have lunch and stroll downtown. We almost always choose Madison’s. The meals, service and ambiance are consistently excellent. Our experience today was no different. We both enjoyed our delicious lunches and the attentive service. The presentation of the shrimp and grits entree and side salad was exceptional. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

    Unsure if it was due to the off-season, but our experience at Madison’s was disappointing. The main issue was one of our meals came out cold. By the time a replacement meal came out, my guest was finished eating already. Management comp’d the cold meal (asparagus, a small cut of steak, and two nice sized scallops). While the replacement meal was good, it the meat was not cooked to liking nor was it asked how it should be cooked. There were a few service related issues as well. Positive note. The venison tenderloin is a must have and a unique dish! We ate there for a celebration and service provided a long stem rose, flowers on the table, and a small departing treat for us. That was much appreciated.
