Our evening was perfect! Our server Shawn was knowledgeable and efficient and never far away. There was a wonderful selection of daily specials, menu items, wine and cocktails. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. I would definitely recommend Magnum and Stein.

Long wait for food without the server explaining the delay. It was very worth it meanwhile as the food was superb. Highly recommend the Salmon

The food was delicious but way over priced. We didn’t receive our food until 1 hour and 45 minutes after we ordered. Our reservation was for 645 pm and we got our food at 830 pm. We asked for water and were told they would try to get us some as they were out of glasses. We did get water served in wine glasses.

This was my birthday celebration supper with my best girl friends. We only all get together on rare occasions because for work schedules, family life and we all live away from each other. It was my birthday so I got to choose the location. Last year we ate here at Magnum and Stiens and it was amazing meal, and service, so of course I wanted to come back here. We were very disappointed. Three of us ordered the special which was the Salmon. Presentation looked lovely and it did taste nice, however when we all cut into the center of the Salmon it was raw!! The waiter asked if we wanted it reheated ….. or a fresh one. He removed our plates and we decided to order something different to be safe, I ordered poutine, my other friends ordered a salad and fish tacos. Being my birthday supper I didn’t really want poutine, that is why I chose this restaurant for a unique experience. They offered some extra bread while we waited, but no complementary drink, or an offer to reduce our bill in anyway…….. so sad to have to write this as my experience as I was expecting so much more…..

The halibut was cooked perfectly and went well with the gnocchi. An ample slice of carrot cake at the end of the meal was perfect for sharing.
