   Really nice pin, good was good only reason I didn’t give five for food was Because the baked cheese starter was a bit too heavy on the garlic. The sides with the main were delicious and the service from the chap throughout the evening was friendly, with a hint of humour he was lovely. Very attentive and informative. Would go again for sure

   Pub has been refurbished recently and looked really nice. We sat outside but it started raining just after our mains came out. 4 of us were under the plastic covering but the other 2 of us weren't, so my husband had to move the table he was sitting at with our daughter to underneath the plastic! Obviously not the restaurants fault that it rained but maybe they could have a some more covered areas, as we all know what the great British weather is like!! Service was pretty good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was presented really nicely and tasted good. We had a range of starters, mains and desserts. Only complaint was that the flank steak was supposed to be medium rare but apart from one bit at the end it was actually cooked medium-well done. I didn't complain at the time as everyone else in our group had their food so it would have been a bit of a pain to get it changed. It did still taste nice though.

   Nice, refurbished pub with grounds overlooking the River Thames. Quiet when we were there but I am sure it gets very busy. Food was Ok, Nothing special. Nice to be able to sit in the garden and plenty of umbrellas for shade on a sunny day. A lot of seating inside if too hot or weather not great. Parking opposite in the walled garden car park.

   Excellent food, nice ambience. Just all round good place to have a meal and a drink with family and friends.

   Super roast dinner. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, chatty but not over the top. We love it here, so much better now

   We sat outside on the terrace overlooking the river on a very warm day. It was buzzy perhaps a little jammed in together but the view is lovely. Understand there has been a recent refurbishment and the inside including the toilets were excellent. The service was friendly if a bit slow. The food was good but portions were only just ok and the burgers I was told were pretty standard fare. Would go again though as overall it was a good experience for a family birthday.

   Since I last visited, the pub has been refurbished, it is much brighter, more modern while still keeping the “old pub” charm. It was extremely busy in the pub, the garden and the upstairs function room. Being so busy did not affect standards, the service from Kat was extremely good and the food delicious! The fact that the pub is right on the river opposite the small yacht club means it is the perfect location with a stunning view, paddle boarders were literally paddling up to the pub, and we were able to feed the swans from our table. This used to be a good pub, now it has been refurbished it is a GREAT pub.

   We had a lovely lunch including two children under 10yr. The new decor is fabulous and the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful and particularly Kat looked after us very well.

    They had run out of most of the menu and dessert menu meaning our first choices for lunch and dessert weren’t available. This was extremely disappointing. Our waiter then waitress were apologetic and friendly. My main needed more potatoes - one new potato cut in half is not sufficient.
