City Works is a massive gastropub in Pittsburgh, perfectly situated in PPG Place for after-work happy hours and watching sports games on one of the 15 TVs. Usually bustling with groups of people during happy hour, it’s a giant space with several different areas to cater to different experiences. Choose one of the high top tables near the bar and TVs to be close to the action or one of the comfier booths and tables for more privacy. The bar has 90 beers on tap! And they always feature at least 25% local beers from breweries in the area. Choose your favorites and indulge in tasty food, like fried cheese curds, pretzel bites and crab fondue!

A casual place with good eats. Parking is difficult around here. Only complaint is the kitchen was backed up so it was pretty slow but we didn’t mind.

We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The food was delicious and we had 6 kids with our party who occasionally got really loud and everyone was so nice and gracious around us! Our server was great! We will be back:)

I opted for the chicken which was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful,on a bed of creamed arugula and carrots. For my birthday celebration they served a complimentary glass of Prosecco and a meringue dessert that was delicious. Overall great service, the only negative is that is very loud.
