Since moving to Boise in 2020 Alavita has consistently been our favorite spot for a special occasion dinner. The food and ambiance are great and it's refreshing to go somewhere that isn't subject to trends like not taking reservations (something too many places do these days!).

I had the Apple/Walnut Salad with grilled chicken - it was amazing! Others in my group had the burgers and fish & chips. All the burgers are made with grass fed beef. My brother-in-law said the fish & chips was very good. This is a casual place with over 40 local beers on tap - it’s a great night out with friends and family.

Food is always awesome! Service was super slow and almost non existent. My guest spilled her water and we had to find someone to help. Our server never even knew the water was spilled even though our table was wet for over 20 min at the min! After eating….We had to search for our server to get the bill. Wasn’t thrilled that we were there so long.

The meal was, as always, absolutely fabulous. The Waygu rib eye steak was so tender that I barely needed my knife. I am going to miss this place...
