                                                                                                                    Food was good as always but I feel as though this place needs more servers to really personalize and give the customers a true NYC experience especially during the holiday season. Had to ask on several occasions for multiple things and that made my second experience to the restaurant not such a pleasant one.

                                                                                                                    Our first time to Max. Excellent experience. Service was good. Hostess aria was very welcoming and nice. We had apps and dessert. We chose fondue for dessert. It came with marshmallow burner. It was fun and something different.

                                                                                                                    The restaurant was very busy, which is expected this time of year. Our actual dinner came out quickly, my sandwich was decent, my daughter’s food was very cold. We asked for ketchup numerous times, and by the time we got it, we were done. We then waited 20 minutes for our fondue, and when it came out, they were so cold, you couldn’t bite into them. To the restaurants credit, they did credit us for most of the meal and apologized. We have visited this establishment many times and this was the first time that it wasn’t very good. It’s normally very delicious.

                                                                                                                    We come here every year for Christmas . Sadly, we realized it has lost its touch with food, drinks, and overall service . It’s not what it use to be when we started four years ago. We no longer will be returning in the near future . Best of luck!

                                                                                                                    Food and atmosphere was phenomenal. Food presentation was great the only two things were. The bathrooms were dirty and in need of toilet paper and attendance. The kitchen is partially open to the dining room and the back door of the kitchen is visible from the restrooms. Both the front and back part of the kitchen looked very dirty and organized not good for your customers to see that kind of thing unless it’s going to be kept up to par made me wonder how clean things really were behind the lines

                                                                                                                    I went for lunch with family including small children and we arrived at our reserved time. Our server was doing their best but had too many tables to manage alone. One hour passed between sitting down and receiving food. Some of the food was no longer hot and the macaroni and cheese was unevenly heated and just not good. It is supposed to be a signature item but it tasted like powdered cheese mix. The bathrooms were dark and not very clean. Overall I would not recommend.
