   McEwen's is one of our favorite, go-to restaurants in Oxford. It's been excellent on every visit through the years. Grilled salmon with pecan sauce was outstanding on this visit. The cornbread was as good as I've ever had (just like their biscuits). And we can always hear each other talk there!

   A go to for us. Can always count on great food, great service and a wonderful environment. Wade was our server and he was fantastic!

   The food was not amazing for the price. The New York strip was over cooked for medium. The filet was okay. The sea bass was very good. Brie appetizer only came with 3 crostinis and we weren’t offered more when you could see the the entire skillet was still full of cheese and there were four guests.

    I missed on the website that only food was the Sunday brunch menu as opposed to that plus the lunch menu which, on the coast both are usually offered. With the limited menu it still was slow at service, my gumbo came out with my Cobb salad and my partner’s meal, which seemed to be quite slow… again for the simple brunch menu longer than should have. I’ve dined several times for dinner at this location as well as Memphis but walked away disappointed. I was so looking forward to it. Staff was all friendly.
