   I am planning on returning to Metro North ASAP. We shared the Manchego salad and ate it all (there was plenty for two). Seared sesame tuna and the salmon avocado special were our entrees and again we both thought they were very tasty and nicely presented. The cost was a bit more than I'd like to have spent but nothing unusual about that these days, especially in this town. Place was full by time we left for a show at McCarter. Happy that others are aware of the good experience they'll have here.

   Staff could not have been welcoming or efficient. Food was good in the most part. We sat close to a speaker that was a little loud for normal conversation but generally a good friendly vibe. Good value for money and worth another visit.

   Metro North on March 19 was its usual standard of excellence - food excellent, Jocelyn's service excellent, price reasonable. My friend's salmon with avacado was tasty; my seafood fra diavolo was enjoyed another night. Always a pleasure. Rita Allen Yardley PA

   Had a late lunch so was not overly hungry, so tried a new twist. Started with a bowl of corn/crab soup (delicious, and lots of crab), with the Bang-Bang shrimp instead of an entree. You get a lot of shrimp with this dish, wonderfully spiced and crisp. Then finished with an all-time favorite, the doughnut centers matched with a cup of Earl Grey tea. Light, flavorful and served with panache by the server. This is why I keep going back.

   The food! The mushroom stuffed with crab meat appetizer set the tone for what was coming . We should have gotten two instead of fighting over one. My wife loved her Sea Bass and I loved my Salmon Oscar. Both were very tasty and delicious. Her Lemon Drop drink was good and large. My blueberry Mule was so good that ordered two. As great as the place was and as great as the meal was , the dessert was unexpectedly amazing. The Bourbon Cheesecake!

   Metro North has always been one of our favorite Italian restaurants, however our recent times going have not been up to their standards. It appears that they have adopted a policy of overbooking reservations. We had a 7:30 reservation on Saturday night and had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated we had a long wait before our server came to take our drink order. It seems as though they need to hire more wait staff for busy weekends, (I saw only 3 servers for the entire restaurant). Even though the entrees should have been hotter, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinners.

   A very nice night out with my wife. We ordered apps, and they were excellent! The drinks were very nice, and our waiter, Rene was excellent - very attentive, but did not over-do it. We had a great spot to dine, where we could talk and see the bar and others. We'll definitely be back!
