Marius deserves a special mention for providing energy to his role as waiter. I observed him serving most of the tables from the kitchen and he did this with passion, energy and enthusiasm. However, he was the only member of staff there that appeared to enjoy his work in the hospitality industry. The rest of the staff provided average service. Looking on the website there was visibly two bar supervisors present walking the floor also. There was no attempt from any staff to ask us if we wanted more drinks during our meal or if everything was ok. Despite the average service (excellent from Marius) the food was positive. The worst bit was the children’s chicken goujons, there were so overcooked and dry. Luckily my 2 year old didn’t really notice but I tried one and they were terrible.

Great food, nice atmosphere, lovely staff. What more do you need? Horses to watch going through their paces whilst you eat? Of course. Brilliant!

Our server was fantastic she was very welcoming and attentive. Food was delicious. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff helped make it a great experience.

Ambience, superb service and as ever consistent great food and drinks. I love the reliability of The Ivy in delivering on a great meal and this didn’t disappoint. After dinner, asking for a seat at the bar for a cocktail didn’t disappoint with an amazing end to our day in Glasgow. Thanks!
