Fantastic experience - food and staff were exceptional. The pairings were perfect and with the corner table overlooking the grand canal, one could not ask for any better culinary experience. It is very expensive but the value is in the quality experience all the way around. Highly recommend to anyone searching for the very best and are willing to pay the premium to obtain it.

My husband INSISTED on writing the review as he was so impressed! We both loved the lunch at the Gritti Terrance. It has the most amazing view and the service is incredible. I booked a special lunch for my wife's birthday and was hoping for a nice romantic experience for the two of us to celebrate. What we received was an over-the-top, incredible lunch EVENT with an amazing view of the Grand Canal! They greeted us as though we were old friends and invited us in to sit down despite the restaurant opening in about 10 minutes. They knew it was her birthday in advance and set us up at the corner-view table. My wife was literally smiling with every part of her. My wife requires a dairy-free experience and they worked overboard to ensure she would be able to have something that she would enjoy. In the end, we had the Branzino with vegetables and Lobster gnocchi. Both were amazing but the real charm was the fact that they served a dairy-free desert from their dinner menu to ensure that had something to properly hold a candle to help wish her a happy birthday. The dessert was delicious and very unique. When lunch was finished, they summoned a water taxi for us, which turned out to be the most beautiful boat. My wife absolutely loved the experience and she said it was her best birthday celebration. If you are looking for that special place to wow someone, head to the Gritti Terrace. We are very grateful to Allesandro and the team for ensuring we had a fabulous and memorable lunch.
