From Don: You may find gnocchi like my Ma used to make or Italian sausage modeled after my Godfather’s, Oreste “Ernie” Capone. You might find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, & popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because she makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too. These things are all my favorites.

Fort George opened its doors to Astoria as both a brewery and a public house, and that desire to serve the community continues to this day. Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3. Seating is first come first serve on our upper patio or indoor lounge tables.

The food preparation by the back of the house was all so delicious: Wedge salad, grilled shrimp cocktail, crab cake, clam chowder, lobster risotto, the bread and the crème brûlée perfectly executed. The managers John and Dominic couldn’t be nicer. Our server Gaspar was amazing. The support staff was great. The atmosphere and the views are unbeatable. Was out with my daughters celebrating life and had an amazing time and were well taken care of. My boyfriend and I came here for the first time last night. This was by far the most beautiful restaurant, and the BEST food we have ever had. Everything we had was over the top amazing, our server was spectacular. We loved that the chef brought us our main courses himself. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. We will be back!
