Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. As owners of R Wine Bar, Riccardo and Marybeth are passionate about one thing: people. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Although South Dakota has restaurants to satisfy any craving, whether it be steak, seafood, Italian, or Chinese food, the options tend to steer towards cuisine from Scandinavian, German, and Native American cultures. That being said, some meal options seem totally unique to the state. Foods such as chislic, kuchen (the state dessert) and Indian tacos are staples in South Dakota.
