   Beautiful restaurant with and impressive bar sending out amazing concoctions. We were a group of 11 for my wife’s birthday and the service was top notch. The chips were constantly flowing along with salsa, and the entrees came out in a timely manor, and were hot and tasty. There was no charge to bring in our own birthday cake as well which is nice! We’re definitely going back!

   Amazing food and service. I’ve been to the one in uptown and not so great experience. I got the steak salad with cilantro lime dressing and it was delishhh!

   We arrived and was seated right away. We waited over 5 minutes before anyone approached our table. We placed our drink order and waited more. Finally got our drinks (tea) and placed our appetizer order. The arepas were good and so was the guacamole. Our drinks remained empty for most of the dining experience. We placed our dinner order and the food was serviced cold and I returned my food. It was so cold and unappealing. They ran out of tea and was told we were need to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready. This was our first time there and don’t expect to be returning. I was really wanting to love this place but it was not worthy it.

   I will start with the positive…they have, by far, the best tortilla chips and guacamole I’ve had in a LONG time! I also loved the red sangria. Perfection! The restaurant also has a lovely ambiance. That being said, my dinner was way too spicy, and I’m not one much for spice. I didn’t realize it would be that spicy, so it was hard for me to eat much of my meal. I also found a produce rubber band in my rice. I’m sure it was a kitchen oversight, but it didn’t help my meal experience. I would happily come back for a happy hour or for drinks and appetizers, but I don’t know that I’d come back for dinner.

   It was very busy for Easter, but our waiter was super attentive & apologized multiple times for the wait time on our food. We were okay though. It was louder than usual, but I think it was due to the amount of families/parties there. Still amazing food & service! We love Mexican Sugar!

   Easter Sunday and the team was unable to keep up with the crowd demand. Too many tables, too little waiters. Our table waited 50 min for an appetizer (soup) and another 40 min for our food. The restaurant was freezing, too! Food was decent but way too spicy.

    Our waiter was fabulous but steak and eggs medium rare was chewy. 6 people 2 liked their food. We will still come back
