   Mikado at the JW Marriott Desert Springs is a solid 10 out of 10 when it comes to food. Every dish we had was delicious, well-made, and cooked to absolute perfection. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every bite. The chefs were not only skilled, but also super fun and engaging. Their energy brought the whole meal to life—especially for the kids, who had an absolute blast. The live cooking experience makes it more than just dinner—it’s a show, and a good one! Yes, it’s slightly pricey—but honestly, the food and experience make it worth every penny. It’s not just a meal, it’s a memorable evening. Highly recommend for families, date nights, or anyone who wants great food with a side of entertainment!

   What a gorgeous restaurant! It's a MUST when you are in the JW Marriot Hotel, or in the area. It is so beautiful, the food is amazing, and the service is great. We love coming to this restaurant, every time we arriving here. You must have a reservation, otherwise there is no chance you will find an empty table on the weekends.

   Listen, I know what to expect with the food at teppanyaki, it’s all the same no matter where you go. However, so many other restaurants have freshened up the routine and gotten more creative with their show. Mikado has been the same thing for the last 20 years. Time for a new act!

    First off the food was absolutely phenomenal. I opted for the filet/tiger prawn. The steak was cooked to perfection. It definitely feels like a premium experience. Not a fan of the up charge for fried rice but it’s a must.
