We (2) chose to dine at Milner's yesterday. We have been there many times, but we do not go often. We began with the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. I had parmesan trout and a glass of wine, and my companion had a Caesar salad with fried oysters and a beer. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. The waitress was very attentive and offered to delay our meals until the appetizer had been consumed. All in all, it was a very nice experience. The food and service were both very good. At Milner's the tables are close together and it can get a little noisy. So, I'm looking for significant negatives and there really weren't any. These are minor, but a half-pour was not offered, and except for the string bass, who was good, the jazz band that started about 6pm was not impressive.

It was an okay Sunday lunch, nothing to write home about. Not likely to do brunch again there. We have enjoyed it before.

The food was excellent, tasty, healthy but expensive... added scallops 3 for $18 (cooked perfectly). We were there when many people were in the bar area and it was loud.

Recipe for a Perfect Evening at Milner’s American Southern Ingredients: •1 generous portion of delicious Southern cuisine, cooked to perfection •1 heaping scoop of friendly, attentive service •A sprinkle of live jazz music, smooth and soulful •A table full of dear friends, ready to savor every moment Instructions: 1.Start with a warm and inviting atmosphere, filled with the comforting aromas of expertly crafted Southern dishes. 2.Add a plate (or two) of perfectly seasoned Brussels sprouts, mussels, buttermilk fried chicken with tomato gravy and collard greens like you’ve never had before, and overnight pot roast. 3.Stir in a staff that treats you like family, ensuring your glass is never empty and your experience is top-notch. 4.Fold in the smooth melodies of live jazz, creating the perfect background for laughter and conversation. 5.Garnish with great company, sharing stories over dessert so delicious it demands a second helping. Serving Suggestion: Best enjoyed with good friends, a hearty appetite, and an appreciation for Southern hospitality at its finest. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – An unforgettable dining experience, worth savoring again and again!
